Sorell Boutique-Hotel Seefeld Zürich in Zurich

Very good value for the Christmas special - spacious room & very cosy & clean. The added bed & water bowl for our dog was a nice touch.

We did run out of hot water in the AM, so that should be improved.

This was our first trip to Switzerland so I had many questions prior to arriving and the hotel assistance was great. This assistance made our trip much more comfortable. Upon arrival, the rep at the front desk, Jerome was fantastic. He continued to be on hand throughout the week! Truly felt at home. The daily breakfast options were delicious. Loved being greeted by the cheerful staff. The dinner we had here at the hotel was wonderful. Many thanks to all of the staff here at the Seefeld Sorell…especially Dustin, Sebastian and Jerome! Wonderful accommodation.

The room was cozy. The hotel is small but elegant, with convenient transportation. Tram No. 4 is right outside, and the train station is just over ten minutes away. There was a Chinese-speaking man at the front desk who was very welcoming. The waitresses in the restaurant were also very friendly. You had to order the meat for breakfast separately from the waitress. They had salmon and ham, and they were delicious. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Very friendly staff. About a seven minute walk from the train station. It wasn’t too bad with our luggage on the sidewalks. The restaurant right next-door is also phenomenal. Our room was super nice in the beds were really comfortable. Probably some of the best sleep we had during our two week trip. We had a balcony that was nice to be able to take advantage of.

We liked the hotel, a 30-minute walk along the embankment from the train station or a 10-minute ride on tram number 4.
The room wasn't large, but cozy: a kettle, coffee maker, yoga mat, and even a backpack, ironing board, and iron were all included.
The breakfast buffet was good: scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruit, muesli, pastries, fresh juices, and dried fruit. The only downside was the coffee—it wasn't very good.
Umbrellas are available at the hotel exit.
We're glad we chose this hotel.

everyting is good and amazing

Lovely hotel. Extremely comfortable beds. Nice layout and some rooms have a balcony. As usual in Zurich good hotels will cost you quite a bit. This isn’t an exception here. However, every time I booked something below 200 francs per night I regretted it. Good hotels are somewhat hard to find in Zurich.

I found the A/C not super powerful. It was 32/18 (max day/ min night) degrees during my stay and the A/C worked just fine for during the night to have a comfortable temperature. During the day I was only shortly in the room but I think this may become too hot at times in peak summer. However, most people won’t spend the day in summer in the hotel room. In the manual of the A/C there is a disclaimer on it being only capable of reducing the temperature by 4 degrees due to environmental regulations for the building complex. I found this prediction to be accurate.

I could not select a room without breakfast. I found the breakfast rather underwhelming and would have appreciated a rate without breakfast included being available.

I will certainly come back here.

A nice hotel in the heart of Zurich, close to the tram station. The breakfast was quite plentiful and fresh. The Chinese-speaking front desk staff were very friendly. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The bath towels didn't seem very clean (we brought our own, which was fine).
