Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 16 per day.

Children up to and including 3 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 7 years old to 13 years old stay for CHF 30 per person per night when using an existing bed.
Children from 14 years old to 17 years old stay for CHF 50 per person per night when using an existing bed.
No extra beds are available.

Very nice place with stunning view. The rooms are spacious and have all you need for a nice stay.
The only bad point was that we were sure we forgot a phone charger in the bed side table and they "didn't find it"... our fault but staff could be more honest.

Great location with a perfect view. But the bathroom was super small. Even the slipping room was small. No air conditioner only a old noisy fan. You can not open the windows, its way to loud directly at the street. Breakfast was nothing exited. Way to expensive for what we get (over 300/night). We expect more for this amount

La Barca Blu is a hotel on top of Locarno. We arrive by car and there is good parking space in the basement. The Check-In was nice and easy. To be noted is that there is no lift in the hotel. This is not an issue for us, on the contrary. The room was well cleaned and order. There is a coffee machine in every room. The small balcony is nice with view towards the lake. The breakfast came in a box due to the virus situation. Overall the hotel is worth the price that you pay. The hotel is collocated with a luxury hotel on the other side of the road. We went there for drinks. I could think of returning here once more if in this part of Switzerland and I go for a budget option because the hotel is really ok.

AMAZING, beginning to checkout. Very nice breakfast in the morning to go sling with an incredible sunrise. Very clean, great shower. Coffee on the balcony WOW

The hotel is fine. I think is a littler bit expensive for the general conditions but again is fine.

Nice hotel, but can be warm overnight, without the AC. Good views from the rooms, and a nice to have a balcony.
