ibis budget Paradiso Mini-hotel

Simply, if you don't want to host guests at this price, don't do it.
I stayed 2 years ago and I am still shocked of Giuseppe's behaviour.
Otherwise the location is great, walk 1-2 km to the centre of Lugano.
Just be real and pay a higher rate for the Ibis normal or Novotel in the same building and the service will be proportional to the rate.

Not clean and really bad bed. One of the worst ibis I had stayed

The AC does not work at all on the bedrooms, the employees were not helpful and said that I needed to change room the next day.
The next day another employee told me that they would upgrade me at 10 am.
We left the hotel around 9 am and returned the keys to him and he did not say that we needed to stay and wait for the change, he did not speak or wanted to speak English with us.
When we came back at night another employee told me that I was supposed to arrive there at 10am not 10pm and they did not change me because with corona rules they are not allowed to pick my stuff from the bedroom but she said that I could leave it in the reception for the next day so they would take it themselves and I was not going to get the upgrade and the information was incorrect from the other employee.
The third day of our stay I was able to change to a different room twice, which unfortunately also did not have an working AC.
In the end I just reserved another hotel for the last night as it was impossible to sleep without AC on a 35° weather, they did not accept to refund my money.
