This hotel has a fantastic view. My sister loves reading novels here. She spends her days playing cards and chatting in the courtyard, and you can even see the Matterhorn. The scenery is superb, and it's very peaceful and relaxing.

Simple hotel right in the heart of town. Old world decor but modern breakfast hall. Clean rooms and excellent bathroom (the shower was super powerful and the bath vast). Convenient for centre of town and 4 mins walk to station.

I think Alpenblick is a nice hotel to stay for when you're in Zermatt. The room is big with balcony, when you can have your lunch, dinner or supper with some views of houses on the mountain. It's abit deep to walk from the Zermatt train station, literally you have to walk until the end of the village and they do not offer any free shuttle to pick or drop you to the station. The balcony doors cant close from outside making the wind blow the door open into the room. Pillow and blanket not enough cottons.. very hard to sleep. Four of us stayed for one night in two rooms at Alpenblick Superior during our trip to Switzerland. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

This was the second time we visited Zermatt. Although the family room is not spacious as we reserved the last room just one day prior to our stay. We truly had a good stay because their friendly staffs, good breakfast, clean room and the pick-up service they provided. Also, they are near by the gondola station of Matterhorn bergbahnen.

WOW! We had an amazing stay in hotel holiday zermatt! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived after hours and there was a key waiting for us. The rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are great. After checkout, they allow you to leave your suitcases as long as you like while you go tour the beautiful sights. Close to the train stations. Beautiful sunrise view of the matterhorn outside.

We stayed here last March, service was great , breakfast is the best . Rooms were clean and just had a mountain views. Would definitely come back here one day. Furthermore, we are grateful for the global shipment of the jacket. A bit far from the train station but it is reachable by taking a bus. The hotel requires a bit of uphill walk after getting off the bus. A bit inconvenient for carrying luggage and ski equipment. Room is a bit small. But it’s clean and provides all the essentials for a ski trip.

Good services and hygiene with tranquility

Zermatt isn't very big, and it takes about fifteen minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel facilities are a bit old, and the elevator is quite vintage, but luckily it's well-maintained and very clean. I recommend it.

It's just a 7-minute walk from Zermatt train station. Breakfast starts at 7 AM. The hotel is clean and quiet, and it has an on-site restaurant. There's also a large supermarket conveniently located right next door.

We stayed as a couple and found the hotel to be small but incredibly cozy. It's conveniently located just a 5-6 minute walk from the station and right on the river.

We picked this hotel because it has some rooms with a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very friendly, the hotel is super clean and the beds are comfortable. It is quite a hike to the hotel from the train station so you may want to take a taxi to the hotel with your luggage. I was so glad it was a bit away from the town center, although it was only 15 min walk away. With convenient electric bus, going around was so easy. And the fact that you have no other building between your room and Matterhorn, what more would you want. I want to go back there again soon even with exorbitant price in Switzerland.

Great location, you pay for the view. Food at the guest restaurant wasn’t great at all (at least when we stayed). Hotel provide coffee, sugar, creamer and tea as well kettle to heat the water. If I’m back to Zermatt I would stay somewhere else and just go up by the train to enjoy the view.

We were rather put off going into our room as it had a bad smell to it and the bathroom in particular and surmised because of this, that something wasn't clean perhaps the carpet or drains to the toilet. I specifically booked a room with a Matterhorn view, but was extremely disappointed to find a metal scaffolding directly obstructing the view from my window. The hotel did not notify or explain this either prior to my arrival or during check-in. Furthermore, the dinner main course offered no options, consisting only of cheese, pickles, and three small potatoes.

The Matterhorn's 'spectacular view' left me speechless! It's incredible that a hotel is situated at such a high-altitude location. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious too.

The hotel is the white house shown in the first picture. The room was quite small, but the breakfast was decent and pretty abundant. It's located in the middle of town, close to the church. Overall, the value for money is alright. Zermatt has tons of hotels, so there are many choices, but very few are available for booking on Ctrip.

it is around 5 mins walk from the station to the hotel, the location is kind of at the edge of town, so I stayed away from the noise of the city centre. there is a river next to it, so it is relaxing to hear the sound of the river at night. I stayed at the highest floor of the hotel with a balcony of a view of Matterhorn. however there is no elevator at this hotel, so it would be not that convenient...

amazing experience, we were unable to see matterhorn clearly on the mountains due to the weather, but luckily were able to catch a full clear view in our hotel rooms right before leaving in the last day! Def recommended to book the rooms with a mountain view if you want a sure chance of seeing matterhorn!

The hotel is conveniently located near the station, only an 8-minute walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they promptly assisted us with everything we needed, including power adapters and a kettle. However, the hotel is showing its age. Some of the power outlets were a bit deformed, making it difficult to plug things in. Also, the Wi-Fi was very slow and disconnected frequently...

We booked it last min and we were so luckily as it was the last room of that day due to peak season. The hotel itself is average and definitely suit for anyone who have low budget yet want to explore Zermatt. I would highly recommended anyone to book here. It was great that the room was well-equipped with an induction hob, dishes, and cutlery. There was no microwave, though. The room was clean, and noise wasn't an issue.

Our other accommodation was suddenly cancelled, and although we booked this place just an hour beforehand, they welcomed us very kindly. From the window of our room, we could see the Matterhorn and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.

Our stay at Apartments Patricia was perfect for our family. Each bedroom having its own bathroom made everything so easy and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent and well-equipped, and the views of the Matterhorn from our balcony were absolutely amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here to acclimatise before climbing the Matterhorn. Friendly staff, great dinner and decent beds. Small things make a difference - having a few extra plugs in the dorm room for charging phones made it nice and convenient.  Great location - especially during Summer when you can side outside and have a coffee or beer, with a direct view up to the summit of Matterhorn. 

I stayed two nights in a row. The views were superb; the Matterhorn was right outside my room window. The hotel is located at an altitude of 2583 meters, and breakfast and dinner are included, with a train ride from the train station to the mountain. ‘Hotel Schwarzsee’ is one of the places to stay if you like to be close to the Matterhorn. From here you can hike early up to Hörnli Hütte. We took the Gondola up to Schwarzsee and stayed overnight. We love Hotel Antika, this was our second stay in 12 months. Rooms are very clean and fresh, with nice toiletries. My only niggle would be that the pillows are too flat to be supportive but extra pillows were delivered to our room quickly on request. Staff are all very friendly and front desk extremely helpful. Clean and nice hotel. The pool and sauna are small but sufficient. Easy access to the town center by elevator is a big advantage. Breakfast was tasty and adequate. There are no slippers provided in the rooms, and even basic slippers are only available for an extra charge, so it’s best to bring your own.

Enjoy a retro log cabin experience. The hotel offers a free shuttle service. The only downsides are that there's construction going on nearby, a large scaffolding obstructs the view, and there's no elevator. Those with large suitcases should avoid this option.

Room was big, comfortable and firm beds as we like it, and the shower was in a tub with a curtain, so water didn't spray everywhere!
