A very nice place that is close to the train station. Everything is very clean. Breakfast includes many choices from sweet to savory. If you are lucky enough to get room 504 you even have a view of the very top of the Matterhorn.

Great room, great shower (water pressure, rain shower head). Location is excellent as it is not next to bars and restaurants so you get good night sleep. And you get to main street in three minutes by walking. Breakfast is basic but as I only spent two nights I didn't mind that. There is free afternoon tea/coffee with cakes.

It's OK, but it takes some time to get to the ski resort. There is an exit that is relatively close, but there is no supermarket nearby, so you still need to go to the train station to buy things.

What an unbeatable location! We loved the breakfast service here, however the rooms themselves were quite cramped. We were unfortunately in one of the long and narrow (1:6) rooms, instead of a standard 1:2 or 3:4 size that most rooms were configured. It made it impossible to have luggage on the ground and walk without having to jump over our belongings.

We got fall weather, winter weather and perfect view of Matterhorn direct from our balcony! Room was large and with two twin beds we could separate them for more room! Fabulous views from this apartment of the Matterhorn. Perfect location to see the Matterhorn all day but especially at sunrise and sunset, The apartment is very spacious with lots of room. Four of us stayed for one night in two rooms at Alpenblick Superior during our trip to Switzerland. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

Amazing place! It really enhanced my experience in Zermatt. Wonderful rooms, beds. It is very modern and the sauna is a great addition. Staff is very helpful and the place is relaxing. Nice and small hotel situated close to Matterhorn express. Refurnished in 2014 and felt new with an old style. Friendly staff who offered services which you would normally pay for such as room service and adapters. Also friendly offering water and fruit when checking out. Some minus for no vegetables at the breakfast and a noisy fan. Will stay here if returning to Zermatt.

Stayed at the Hotel Capricorn in late June 2019 and absolutely loved the property. The location was perfect in that it was far enough away from the crowds (and noise) of downtown while still being an easy 10 minute walk when we wanted to be in the hustle. Many nice cafe's and restaurants near the hotel that were less crowded, less expensive, and just plain served better food than some of the downtown...

They have an amazing wellness facility which seemed to be newly renovated; Steam Room, Sauna, showers, jacuzzi & seating area all exceeded our expectations. I stayed here for two nights during September 2021. This hotel was clean and quiet and our room had a great view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was great and included both hot offerings (Eggs, etc. ) and cold. Good coffee machine. It's a short walk from town. I will come back again!
