The shuttle service, the reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the view are all top class. Prices are within acceptable range by Swiss standards. In addition to a beautiful sauna, the spa also has a cold room like a freezer, so if you're a sauna-loving Japanese, you'll be well equipped!The breakfast was also very delicious.

When you look up from the hotel platform, you can see the Matterhorn. The hotel shuttle bus is unique. The hotel also has a famous hot spring swimming pool. You can rent bicycles in the hotel. The most satisfying hotel in Switzerland.

Pricey, just like everywhere in Zermatt; however, their parmesan truffle fries are absolutely delicious, and the service is great! Sit outside on the terrace if it's nice. Don't be afraid to ask for blankets, they have plenty. I hear their Sunday brunch is fantastic, although I can't vouch for that.

Actually, there is a hotel reception car at the exit, but we didn't know it. I bought a bottle of red wine at the supermarket DENNE near the station, and ordered a steak on the 0th floor of the hotel. It was very comfortable for two people to share. Thank you hotel staff! Zermatt is an amazing location so only the hotels and restaurants differentiate it. Hotel Sonne is spotlessly clean (very important to me), welcoming, with plenty of individual space, a lovely spa area, a great masseuse but the food is its usp - breakfasts to suit the fussiest family and the Tapas Restaurant is amazing.
