Where to stay in Zermatt

Some of the best service I’ve ever received anywhere in the world. Upscale but very comfortable. Staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. The layout of the hotel and amenities was very convenient. The location close to the gondola is also nice.

We had a brilliant time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The staff were very attentive and ready to help in any way they could. The shuttle cars from the station were great to transport our luggage. Highly recommend Grill Cervin, the lamb was to die for! We’d come back in a heartbeat

Actually, there is a hotel reception car at the exit, but we didn't know it. The hotel is absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable, the spa is well-equipped, the breakfast has absolutely everything, and the shuttle service is punctual. The only drawback is that the concierge doesn't handle restaurant reservations.

Our stay at the Europe Hotel was perfect! My daughter and I were here to ski for the first time and we loved everything about this hotel. The hotel is right next to the cable car station for the Matterhorn, which is why I booked this room. You can see sheep on the hillside opposite the window, but they aren't black-faced sheep. The sheep come down to the road around 4:30 pm and walk towards the pedestrian street, which is a good spot for taking photos. Everything felt luxurious and comfortable to the touch, and I was very satisfied. Sleeping while watching the stars from the loft roof was a special experience. Located in the heart of Zermatt, while the Matterhorn is not visible, the train station is very close, just a 300-meter walk with luggage. Free lunch is available on the second floor.
