Where to stay with pets in Zermatt

Location is just at the main street of shopping. Bucherer and Rolex shop is just opposite the hotel. Very close to train station, breakfast was awesome. Will definitely choose to stay here again in future

Prime location with less than 5mins walk from Zermatt train station. Though it is a boutique hotel but the room designs and facilities are luxury. The room is spacious and clean

The stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.

Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste

The hotel's location, facilities, and service are the best in the area. The ski-in and ski-out are perfect. The outdoor hot spring and sauna are quite large and must be used every day. The gym is too small and cramped

One of my favorite stays ever taken. We had a couple of untimely requests and they were met within minutes. And oh the views are mind boggling. Definitely coming back in the winter. Thanks to all the Riffelalp staff

Although Riffelalp 2222 Resort has advantages such as some rooms with Matterhorn views and comfortable outdoor pools, many defects such as inconvenient transportation, small rooms, poor service, catering problems and unreasonable charges have seriously affected the accommodation experience and are difficult to match its high-end positioning

The quality of the restaurant is very good, and the room you stay in can also see the Matterhorn, which is great! After checking out, there was a free shuttle to take our luggage to the train station. Highly recommended.

The resort is spread across several separate buildings that aren’t connected indoors, so getting to breakfast, the spa, or the ski room means stepping outside and walking in the cold for a few minutes

It’s not the most practical setup, especially in ski boots, but you get used to it. The spa area is mostly outdoors, with two saunas, one Finnish outside, one steam room inside, plus a small pool

Not really, you still must walk a little over 15 -20 minutes, depending on where you’re going in the village. It’s very close to the lift to take you up the mountain to hike or ski in winter, which was convenient

The staff were so thoughtful, and the hotel went above and beyond to make Christmas special for the us and our 3 kids (including Father Christmas at the hotel who brought gifts for each of the kids)

Hotel Sonne is spotlessly clean (very important to me), welcoming, with plenty of individual space, a lovely spa area, a great masseuse but the food is its usp - breakfasts to suit the fussiest family and the Tapas Restaurant is amazing

The outdoor tub is nestled in among a waterfall and a cliff. The restaurant is outstanding. We especially loved the Tapas menu. The breakfast buffet is extensive. They have a breakfast rice dish, that was superior
