We had a brilliant time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The staff were very attentive and ready to help in any way they could. The shuttle cars from the station were great to transport our luggage

Had two night in the 2nd building and had a partial view of the Matterhorn from the room and balcony. This corner room was nicely spacious and light and we loved having the cool air coming in at night

From train station pick up, check in, restaurant booking, room services, concierge, bar service, to check out with proper Swiss send off, the whole experience was just amazing

The hotel's location, facilities, and service are the best in the area. The ski-in and ski-out are perfect. The outdoor hot spring and sauna are quite large and must be used every day. The gym is too small and cramped

Every aspect of the hotel's design is top-notch

Although Riffelalp 2222 Resort has advantages such as some rooms with Matterhorn views and comfortable outdoor pools, many defects such as inconvenient transportation, small rooms, poor service, catering problems and unreasonable charges have seriously affected the accommodation experience and are difficult to match its high-end positioning

Rooms were beautiful, staff was beyond responsive to every need. They meet you at the train station and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast is served in the most beautiful room with a glass ceiling and incredible views

Absolutely perfect in every aspect. Staff were amazing, location is the best, the spa is gorgeous. A real treat to stay in such a meticulously maintained historic hotel. 5 stars +

We were lucky enough to experience a truly magical Swiss Christmas, complete with snow-dusted mountains, festive charm, and an atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairytale. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more

The hotel gave me custom chocolate and red wine when I checked in. Except for alcoholic drinks, everything in the mini bar is free. The breakfast is generally good, but it does not meet the standards of this level

The hotel is retro and the bar is very nice! It's very close to the train station, just a five-minute walk. The front desk service is OK, not bad. The facilities are a bit old, but well maintained and clean

I slept very comfortably! The view outside the window is OK

There were some minor defects and the staff fixed efficiently. They had an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna room. I had to mention that the jacuzzi was of high standard and you must go after a day of hiking

The resort has a brand new feel overall. It's super close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk, which makes getting to the Matterhorn really convenient. Plus, it's closer to the viewpoint than other hotels

The room had a very cozy vibe

However, I wouldn't stay here again, and here's why: 1) There's no hot water during peak shower times in the evening, so I had to wait until morning to shower, and I felt sticky and uncomfortable all night

2) The Matterhorn view was obstructed by two trees, and I don't think rooms with obstructed views should be sold at the same price as those with an unobstructed view

Has a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Switzerland. The location was very good and convenient, the views were beautiful, and the room was clean. The service was also okay overall

Amazing spa ( jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, swimming pool) and massages ( I had a full body massage which was just perfect). Service is top quality and very international ( they all speak at least 3 languages)

The spa and pool were fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt

We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre

Perfect stay! Staff are polite and helpful. The complimentary afternoon cakes are added bonuses.They offer free transfer from train station to hotel and save the hussles to move the luggages on the road!

We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time

One can see the attention to detail of room cleaning and pool area , Bravo ! The breakfast , again , a team takes care 100% to a minute clean of the bread area. The choice of good breads to be praised

The staff is unbelievable, top to bottom. Everyone is incredibly good. You actually feel like they are happy you there. Pool is huge. And it's like 100 second walk to the first lift.

Children in the stairwells and people above us jumping around until midnight prevented us from sleep. The staff was not willing to help when we told them of the issue

Very satisfied with all aspects, the service staff is enthusiastic. The room was given foreign wine, chocolate and apples. The only regret is the standing crane, which blocks the view and is noisy

The hotel room has a direct view of the Matterhorn. After arriving in Zermatt, you can contact the hotel to pick you up at the train station. Otherwise, it is difficult to find the hotel entrance

The hotel upgraded the room type, everything is good, the Michelin restaurant is also very good. I will stay here again next time I come to Zermatt

- The Golden Horn Point is about a minute away, making it a great place to watch the sunrise in the morning. - The Matterhorn can be seen from your room's veranda, making it a great place to check the weather

- The breakfast selection is extensive, and the food is delicious. - Pancakes and waffles used to be free, but now they seem to be charged (8-12 francs). - Upon arrival, you can choose your drink of choice

Location - It's about a 7-minute walk from the station, so you'll need to take a detour, but Zermatt itself is quite small, so getting around isn't difficult (pickup is available upon request)

Be especially careful when booking a room; the difference is huge The hotel's WELLNESS is very good; but it is best to bring a swimsuit (because other people enter with **) A very good memory in Zermatt

The hotel is absolutely fantastic!!!! We arrived on July 13th and they picked us up with all our luggage at the station, after which they gave us a free upgrade to the room with a view of the Matterhorn!!!!! Something breathtaking!!!! Truly gorgeous! I will absolutely return also for the friendliness of the staff!! Thank you with all my heart!

Actually, there is a hotel reception car at the exit, but we didn't know it. I bought a bottle of red wine at the supermarket DENNE near the station, and ordered a steak on the 0th floor of the hotel

The sauna (it's a mixed bath and they said swimsuits aren't allowed, but everyone was wearing them) is of very high quality, and it really helped relieve fatigue. The staff were kind and polite

They also proactively reminded me about the temperature difference and how to operate some room facilities (such as the air conditioner). The air conditioner is operated via the TV, which is indeed a bit inconvenient

The front desk staff were very welcoming! I asked many questions, such as where to see the black-faced sheep, how to get to some attractions, and shuttle bus schedules, and the staff answered them all patiently

For a truly memorable stay in Zermatt, look no further than the Traditional Julen Hotel. We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced

Prime location with less than 5mins walk from Zermatt train station. Though it is a boutique hotel but the room designs and facilities are luxury. The room is spacious and clean

The stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.

Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient

The location is superb, with private access to the Matterhorn Glacier Express gondolas (via private access elevator, steps from the private ski room). The rooms are terrific, comfortable and luxurious

Junior suites are spacious with great Matterhorn views. Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was terrific and plentiful and they offer baggies and bread for take away sandwhiches

The Swiss charm, decor and warmth are experienced throughout the hotel at every turn. We had the most glorious unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, as do most rooms

Best part is the hotel has its own exclusive elevator to the gondola station. Berghof is one of the best examples of a Swiss family owned/run hotel in Zermatt

The fire was so cozy after a long chilly day! All of the staff there were great and very helpful with anything we needed, from pickup/drop off from the train station, to any questions about recommendations! The only thing that came to mind that we felt awkward about was when we checked in we only had 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth in our room and when we had asked for one more of each, they made a comment...

Clean room and very pretty, even though it was mid-October it still got hot in the room and there was no fan so we just kept the sliding door open a little bit throughout the night and that worked! We had a balcony and just barely a view of the Matterhorn which was awesome

But we were never told how we go about doing so when we did not see a phone in the room anywhere. Not really a big deal, just felt like a bit of an inconvenience. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

Great hotel - close to the main street and all the relevant lifts but in a quieter area of town. The breakfast was great and the staff were so always accomodating - assisting with plans and transport.

The lady that worked the desk in the evening was great-she was the fire master, bartender, and helped guests at the desk, always making sure we were doing ok

Absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel Zermama. With its boutique vibes you really feel like a valued guest. Fondue on the balcony is great, views of the Matterhorn are incredible, the faux fur robes are 10/10 warm
