Some of the best service I’ve ever received anywhere in the world. Staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. The layout of the hotel and amenities was very convenient. The location close to the gondola is also nice

We had a brilliant time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The staff were very attentive and ready to help in any way they could. The shuttle cars from the station were great to transport our luggage

Just a short walk from Zermatt train station. Nice indoor pool, spa, foot bath including steam and sauna (nude) facilities. Drop off to train station with its own “taxi” service

From train station pick up, check in, restaurant booking, room services, concierge, bar service, to check out with proper Swiss send off, the whole experience was just amazing

Our family had such a great time and was very memorable. Highly recommend for others when visiting Zermatt, and definitely our choice when visiting next

The service is quite good, but on the last occasion I found they weren’t very attentive and they didn’t even have available basic liquors for making simple cocktails like, for example; a Negroni

The resort has a brand new feel overall. It's super close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk, which makes getting to the Matterhorn really convenient. Plus, it's closer to the viewpoint than other hotels

Choosing this hotel was a very wise decision; the facilities and service were excellent! The best part is the view of the snow-capped mountains! You can see the golden sunrise directly from your room, which is perfect for lazy people like us, as we don't need to rush to the summit by early train

We have the room facing the back of the hotel and it is quiet during the stay. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast spread was great but not the best

The stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.

Location is just at the main street of shopping. Bucherer and Rolex shop is just opposite the hotel. Very close to train station, breakfast was awesome. Will definitely choose to stay here again in future

Prime location with less than 5mins walk from Zermatt train station. Though it is a boutique hotel but the room designs and facilities are luxury. The room is spacious and clean

The room is spacious with good shower and balcony with view. Spa area is excellent and very clean offering drinks and snacks. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. Bar in the evening friendly.

There are many good things about this hotel. If you plan to ski in Sunnegga then the location is excellent just 1min walk from the telecabin

Facilities - First of all, this is a very high-end hotel, so the facilities are generally good. - The minibar is free, so you don't need to purchase water or other drinks separately

Not far from the train station, the room and breakfast room face the Matterhorn directly, the hotel facilities are good, the gym, swimming pool, outdoor pool, spa are complete, there is also ski equipment rental in the basement, 15% discount for guests

The hotel staff is also very good and enthusiastic! The hotel's supporting facilities are great, with indoor/outdoor hot springs that can be used after 1pm

Let's talk about the advantages first: a great view of the Matterhorn, you can see it from the terrace, and you can also see it when you have breakfast in the restaurant, the view is very good

The huge Matterhorn seemed just outside my balcony room. The iconic view changed form before sunrise to after sunset. The restaurant served good meals with nice staff

Everything was perfect. Service was great. Rooms are new. Spa has the best view around. Recommend this hotel 100%

Such a wonderful place we we would give 7⭐️ or more 👏 All the waitress, housekeeping & SPA person’s have treated us very very well especially Jurani! We felt very welcome from this people and the room was amazing with its view and style! Breakfast is outstanding and the food in general is excellent

Absolutely one of the the best stay in a mountain resort. The location is great directly off the slope. The hotel offers 3 restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines. Super comfy rooms and great amenities.

I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel, especially to the Guest Relations team, Carmen and André. They went above and beyond to help us organize our activities, considering the numerous changes we had to make

The food was also great — breakfast had plenty of good options, and dinner was really tasty. The spa area was perfect for relaxing after a day out

We loved it and will definitely stay here soon again! The only thing what should be improved is the almost unprofessional hotel reception - things got several times forgotten, not much service orientation, we always thought twice if we should ask them something because of their attitude

My only regret is we did not stay longer! Tip - WhatsApp the resort and they will pick you up at the train station as it it quite the hike Another Tip - there is an elevator at the station to Sunnegga which makes the walk much easier!

The cuisine is refined, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish felt carefully composed. A very special mention goes to Paul, the sommelier — he immediately understood our taste and guided us perfectly

I stayed at the Design Matterhorn room for four nights with half board package. It was the best experience during my trip to Switzerland. The room was spacious with spectacular view

It had separate shower and bathtub, quite unusual in Switzerland hotels. The hotel offered rich buffet breakfast and different dinner dishes everyday. That was considerate for people who stayed longer

Fantastic little hotel in the heart of Zermatt. The main lady (the owner I believe?) is an absolute delight, she makes you feel like home absolutely. She also has a fierce eye for detail (watch her running the breakfast)

The room and staff were first class. Baggage storage, completed check in so we could easily get keys when we returned from day out. Wished we could of enjoyed the place longer than the 1 night

The location is superb, with private access to the Matterhorn Glacier Express gondolas (via private access elevator, steps from the private ski room). The rooms are terrific, comfortable and luxurious

Junior suites are spacious with great Matterhorn views. Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was terrific and plentiful and they offer baggies and bread for take away sandwhiches

The Swiss charm, decor and warmth are experienced throughout the hotel at every turn. We had the most glorious unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, as do most rooms

We had no problems accessing the town centre via a lovely 10-15 scenic walk. Thank you to all for a wonderful stay - we will certainly return as often as possible!

The pool, wellness and spa centre is a real treat and so needed after a full day of activities. The breakfast is classic continental with hot orders upon request

Best part is the hotel has its own exclusive elevator to the gondola station. Berghof is one of the best examples of a Swiss family owned/run hotel in Zermatt

We researched quite a few and decided this was our best bet - if we picked the Matterhorn view room - which we did We were not disappointed! The hotel itself is in a great location within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants just down the hill from the beautiful church whose bells ring regularly

They picked us up at the train station and also took us back when we left. They gave us good recommendations on places to eat. All in all our 3 night stay at the Alalin was exactly what we had hoped!

There is an attractive reception area combined with a bar area, where they serve drinks and snacks in the evening. They have a fitness room and an excellent Spa , which we used and enjoyed

Our main priority in finding a good hotel in Vermont was one that had a view of the Matterhorn

But In addition the hotel itself is completely charming, the service is friendly warm and welcoming, It has a very nice aroma when you walk in …they told us it was the wood and there is typical Swiss woodwork everywhere

And even though we got two of this same type of room, one came with two balcony doors (which are large windows) and 1 regular window (room 302); the other room just had one balcony door and no additional windows(room 305)

The junior suite (room 404) is a 2-story loft with a private rooftop for a 360 degree view of the town, that was an amazing room! It also seems that this room has a Murphy bed in the “dining room” space, so you could possibly sleep 4 people in this suite, though their website only seems to allow you to book the room for 2 people

Yikes! Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, but we slept with the balcony doors open because the hotel keeps the heat on high and you can’t co trim your room temperature, so opening doors is the only way to cool off

They ask you how your ski was when you return and seem to genuinely be interested. The hotel gets a 10% discount on ski rentals at the place attached to the hotel, I believe it’s called Mountain Sports

It’s not terribly loud and with earplugs I was fine, and I’m a light sleeper. But this hotel is also one block from the church and those church bells go off at 7am everyday

They’re all from different countries, willing to chat with you about the area, they’ll personally walk you into the bars/clubs at the hotel

Absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel Zermama. With its boutique vibes you really feel like a valued guest. Fondue on the balcony is great, views of the Matterhorn are incredible, the faux fur robes are 10/10 warm

Zermama was a great little spot for our short stay in Zermatt. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the train station (including Gornergrat scenic train) and with an awesome view of the Matterhorn

Here is so good! They upgraded our room. The room is spacious and clean. It takes only 7mins from the station. Also the breakfirst was really nice.

The hotel has a great ambiance and a spa. The service and breakfast were also quite good. They even offer a shuttle service to the train station.

They even have a jacuzzi – I really regretted not bringing a swimsuit! As it was raining, we made good use of their transfer service to the station, and we were so pleased with their friendly and accommodating welcome

Our stay at hotel Arca Solebad & Spa made our trip to Zermatt worthwhile! We were close to supermarkets and close enough to the trams and very near to the train station. The upgraded view of Matterhorn was amazing

There is a separate elevator right to the ski closets. The room was large and there’s even a small kitchenette to facilitate meals in the room. The bus stop is right outside and leads you to the rest of the town

We had a lovely time here - the hotel was kind enough to allow an early check in. The Sauna and pool facilities are larger than expected and tucked underground where the ski closets are

On the last night we are exhausted after a long day of skiing, and the room service arranged meals room Madre Nostra and Bazaar to satisfy everyone's tastes and brought it to our suite so we could have a lovely cozy dinner in our room

Our suite was gorgeous with it's own living room, dining room, kitchenette, and spacious bedroom. I adored waking up every morning to the perfect view of the Matterhorn

My only point of improvement would be that the suite could use some more closet/shelves for all our things. Thank you Cervo for the beautiful stay! We'll certainly be back!

Highly highly recommend! The ONLY less than stellar part was the room service burger - overcooked and tough which was a bummer after a long day of hiking, especially for 40CHF apiece
