The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is wonderful.
We stayed here for a week. Alex was super friendly. Breakfast was delicious. All the team was warm and open. Thank you for the lovely experience. They are there to help you whenever you need for example a taxi. Asante Sana, from Assala and Sarah
Probably the best hotel in this area, which is the south branch of Jambiani. Extremely friendly and helpful service all round. Excellent queen bed with mosquito net (not that I needed it at the time). However no fridge in the rooms. Meals are on demand pretty much any time, always fresh and excellent. Breakfast choices are limited but very good, i.e. there's no breakfast buffet as in resorts (for that...
The employees are very kind. There was no air conditioner, but I was able to sleep because the wind was blowing through. Mosquito nets are a must. It's like sleeping in a bungalow at a campsite. The view in front of the beach is spectacular.
Amazing location right at the beach, clean and comfy rooms, nice breakfast. Nasrin and Erwin were great hosts and the employees fullfilled our every wish from food&drinks to organazing activities. Thank you so much.
Great waking dream 🌴🌊💫 Great atmosphere, very comfortable bed, friendly service, the noise of the ocean is priceless. Wonderful and welcoming host.

Absolutely amazing stay. Sushant , Excellent Service Gertrude at Reception very kind and Friendly. I will definitely recommend Al Johari *****
Traditional hotel in Stone town and great sea view from rooftop restaurant. Budget friendly and clean. Dedicated staff and helpful
Great location, amazing architectural history A wonderful hotel, fabulous location, bristling with architectural history - a stunning building. On the room - there was no safe; bed too big for the room layout (a big bed is a good thing); the mattress was a bit "tired"; TV channels poor - needs DSTV ..... otherwise fabulous
I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain. Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk). This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location,...
Lovely staff, great location, Puzzle Coffee across the street
This is a unique property in the Stone Town area of the Zanzibar, close vicinity to the Forodha Park , the hotel is quiet and gives you a feel of the ancient times a great break from the new modern hotels

Dar es Salaam, maweni 🧭 Map
Vert serene and Great location, nice view of the ocean. Very very slow service. There is a charge of Tsh5000 entrance free that is paid cash and you have to pay as long as you get inn no matter how much you spend on food and drinks.
We stayed at Kajiji Beach Resort from the evening of the 21st Dec to the morning of 27th December. We arrived late on the 21st so went straight to our room, lovely air conditioned and clean Linen. We went to the dinning area the following morning and sadly walked past a resort that was dirty with plastic cups bottles paper napkins and bottles scattered all over. We had our breakfast, and returned to...
My wife and I stayed here for 12 hours, but that was by choice due to an extended layover at Dar es Salaam. We selected Kijiji to be near the beach, it has a pool and a decent room to relax it while we wait for our flights. The taxi to the hotel costs $35, and upon check in, we waited for about an hour for our room (we checked in early, so no fault on the hotel here). Area grounds were nice, but for...
The biggest advantages of this resort are the food, the beach, and the staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The only issues I had were with the AC remote, which kept breaking, and the drain in the shower, which was clogged (but it was fixed quickly). The swimming pool wasn’t very clean, so I didn’t use it. The spa is cheap but not really worth a visit, I paid for a 1-hour massage and...
Rooms are so good, and having a dressing room, bathrooms are also really good. Beds are also so comfortable with a mosquito net, WIFI is perfect. Restaurant food is good with a moderate pricing, and bar is also excellent. There are so friendly rabbits roaming inside the hotel complex, but they get scared so easily. Water in the pool is always foggy, so I could not swim in it. Swimming in the ocean...

We had a lovely time in this hotel, it’s a little paradise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful also with program recommendations. They have a very good restaurant and also a beach bar with sunbeds and with an extraordinary view. The fruits they gave with the breakfast were very tasty. The rooms were clean and they sprayed our room every day with antimosquito spray. They offer a lot of programs...
The hotel has a great ambience, along with a lovely pool and well‑maintained amenities, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were truly friendly and helpful, always readily available when we needed assistance. One of the highlights is the excellent location, very close to Nungwi Beach, which made it easy to spend time by the beach and fully enjoy the surroundings. The restaurant staff...
I definitely recommend staying at Maisha. Calm location and close to Nungwi beach and central area. Clean rooms and amazing service. A massive shoutout to their staff: all of them very friendly, helpful, polite and always with a smile. Interaction with guests was beyond any place I have stayed before! Well done to all of the team!
The Maisha Nungwi was a wonderful place to start our honeymoon! The people were extraordinary, friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar/Restaurant is awesome, the food is great, the view is beautiful. We recommend booking the Nungwi walking Tour with Izzy (!) The dolphin/snorkelling experience was also great. There were some small "hiccups" like a lot of mosquitos even tho the hotel tries to keep them away...
We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Nungwi Beach Boutique Hotel. They have great location. It is true, that it is not on the beach, but it is a minute away. As well as their second bigger restaurant, which is on the beach and has an amazing sunset atmosphere at the dinner. We enjoyed food there very much and staff was so friendly. The room was clean and well equipped with both air conditioning...
The hotel is great, 2 little pools inside the garden, stuff are super nice. There is a beach club owned by the hotel. Beach chairs, food & drinks are all within a walkable distance. Downside - wifi is not very stable inside the hotel, beach club has a better connection in general. The water stopped twice when i wanted to take a shower, eventually i went down to the pool shower.

My flight got cancelled. Precision Air provided me with this hotel to stay overnight. This is an old hotel, but it is quite beautiful. It is located outside the city center of Arusha. It is not close to business stores and the public market. The room is very beautiful. The only downside was that the shower water did not drain well down to the sewage pipe. They only provided two bath towels and no hand...
Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Life-Changing Safari Experience! My recent 4-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Lush Expeditions was nothing short of magical! From the moment we left Arusha, everything was perfectly organized, making the trip stress-free and deeply enjoyable.
Very good welcome from Winnie and Rita a very good teamwork from the two. We loved the rooms which were very spacious. Very big compound and good gardens. The breakfast enough. A nice place to be with family. My daughter loved the place.at the time of our visit the pool was not functioning under repairs. Hope to visit next when it is working. Shukran
The rooms are spacious and clean. The gardens within the hotel area dramatically improve the aesthetics. The staff are friendly and experienced in running such a hotel. The meals are well prepared and tasty. Wi-Fi in all places in the hotel keeps one connected.
After reading the reviews, we decided to cancel our reservation. However, our host asked us to go take a look at it first. Upon arriving at the hotel, we found that the rooms were very nice. The restrooms were very nice. A/C worked very well. The food in the restaurant was very good. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! Great price, great service, friendly...
This room was very clean, had AC, and a refrigerator. It was a very nice place to stay. Food was good too. Staff were pleasant. The spout from the shower did not work very good, but the sprayer worked just fine so no issues showering. There was hot water as well. I would definitely stay again.

I had a great stay for 2 nights. The beach is breathtaking, food was great (dinner was $12) and the manager, Gray, took excellent care of me. I felt very safe walking alone but anytime ai needed a ride, Gray got me a driver. A/C, bottled water, internet, all good.
5/5 one of the best affordable accommodation out there located infronf of the beach it was so nice to be there the staff where so helpful the breakfast was so Good to be included
Peace and quiet. Really nice beach so peaceful in the mornings during the day there is the odd seller trying to push tours but nothing like stone Town and Nungwi so many bars and restaurants with direct beach access. If you visit anywhere in zanzibar put jambiani on the list
Satisfied, the front desk was very welcoming
Some photos do not correspond to reality., Also, when I booked the hotel, there was information that there would be shampoo, but there wasn’t any, plus there was no Wi-Fi in the room, although the description stated that there would be free Wi-Fi, but there was Wi-Fi only at the reception.

There are renovated rooms, as well as old rooms. Some rooms have a refrigerator, some rooms do not. The air conditioner is located directly above the bed, and the blanket is a sheet. In the old rooms there is no partition between the toilet and shower. The location is great, if not for the "den" on the nearest street, where local drinkers hang out)) You will definitely not be able to pass unnoticed...
Beautiful spot, overlooks the ocean. Hot showers, fresh breakfast (fruits, juice, tea or coffee, eggs and toast), and very kind staff. The restaurant in front of it is AMAZING too. Our group loved it.
Nice place considering the price. I had to switch rooms because the air conditioning didn't work. Location was great, right on the beach.
+ Great location and not very expensive. +Beach is really good, swimming even at low tide possible. - Standard breakfast: toast and omelet. (2 additional tests cost $2). - Service is super slow. - Mosquito net has holes. - Internet slow
As far as I can tell it's the cheapest place that you are looking at the beach off the porch or balcony. I paid 30$ for a room with a fan and an AC room costs 40$. I have peeked at other rooms that are nice but my room is unsophisticated ( no nightstands there is a space for a wardrobe but not one there!) Not dingy though and cleaned every day. The bathroom is a little lacking. Old but not terrifying...

You won't regret to visit the place.
Great place, unlike one of the reviewer wrote,
A hidden gem in Mbeya. Rooms are nice and clean, staff is attentive. The restaurant serves wonderful authentic local foods. There are some outdoor tables for an afternoon beer and even a bar with live music on Friday nights. Why there is a bar with live music is a bit odd as there are not many guests. I travel in many remote areas of the world, and can assure you this is an oasis in Tanzania....
This is a beautiful quiet place just outside of downtown Mbeya. It is close enough to shopping but still tucked away in a quiet place around beautiful plants and water. They have a nice restaurant and bar, nice simple rooms and secure parking. The only issue I have with this place is that when ordering food it takes around and hour to get your food. This happened on 2 separate occasions I ate here...
Very beautiful environment outside, very good hotel.
It is a cool place with good customer service. I only went for an office dinner whereby we experienced a very good customer service. The price are relatively ok. The environment is superb.

Excellent place with wonderful service and kind staff. Some of the amenities were a little old but for they worked. Overall, the price is good for the service you get.
breakfast is my only issue there its very poor but room ,bathroom was good it was quite l slept like a baby hot shower gives them high score but no kettle or water was not that good especially coming back from a hot day .otherwise the place is better than other places l slept in zanzibar
The room was very small, our towels were taken away and never brought back and our shower was not working. However the hotel is hidden in a little street which is nice and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast on the roof top is very nice. Since the whole town is doable by foot, the location is good. It is close to the fish market and the main road, and about 10 to 15 minutes walk...
Clean and comfortable in the heart of Stone Town. Close to the market for spices and coffee. We walked allot and explored all the local markets. It's not difficult to find if you tell the driver to go to Kokoni street. The breakfast needs serious improvement. The rooms were neat and comfortable with a TV. They don't serve lunch or dinner so venture out and enjoy FORODHANI night market! 8 minute walk...
This hotel is centrally situated in Stone Town it provides cool marble floors in its delightful rooms with private bathroom. It is one of the older buildings and original features can be seen. An Unforgettable Experience in Zanzibar My partner and I were lucky enough to spend three days at this beautiful hotel overlooking the sea, in the heart of the village of Pwani Mchangani. Great value. Nice clean hotel in good safe location. Dinner and breakfast available. They also coordinated a ride to and from the airport. Friendly staff.
Looks lovely, and the location is nice and quiet , the staff are really warm and welcoming, but, lodge itself needs allot of improvements for the price packages they offer. We booked nearly all the rooms, and many rooms had no running water, we had no card keys to the rooms, and since the doors are card locked, we had to share one key and you end up leaving your door open if you had to move around...
Very comfortable and clean rooms, quite and peaceful location that is close enough to town. WiFi is a bit poor, so maybe not the best place if trying to get some work done. Breakfast was okay, lunch/meals were fine at an average price.

Everything was great except for one person at reception who was not polite and didn’t communicate well. He seemed to have a bad attitude. Apart from that, the hotel is perfect — very clean and with a great location right in front of the sea! It’s a quiet and relaxing place. However, I want to insist that the tall man at reception who wears glasses was not friendly or professional.
Nice hotel with great view and very friendly staff. Especially the staff in the restaurant was always in a good mood with smile, making sure that we have everything we need.
The room is big but needs some maintenance; the shower tube leaks so bad, the hair dryer works when it decides to do so and it s very old, only 1 big & 1 small towel provided for the 3 days stay, the city tax is so expensive ($8/day). The location is amazing, the beach is turquoise...

Stay at Durban hotel was good, a clean place, good beddings, good wifi, water and power is available 24/7. Very cheerful member of staff.
Great location and the most average service in the world. They do just enough to be alive. Their rooms are plain and my room in particular kept having power issues that I learnt to resolve myself because the hotel staff weren't proactive enough.
