The a la carte restaurant (additional cost) makes more Western style meals too. The food is good, not excellent but not terrible. Normal buffet I guess! All inclusive drinks menu is fairly extensive

The bed was comfortable and linens were good quality. The hotel is outside of town, in a gated compound. There is no reason to leave the property because there is nothing around. You will take all your meals on property

The maintenance man looked at it – “It’s not broken. ” Ok, it’s not the end of the world. The shower was spacious with plenty of hot water, and the towels were large and of good quality

I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stone Town. It is close to all the attractions. There is a wonderful restaurant on the roof with a view, where it is always cool. There is a swimming pool and a coffee shop

A beautiful place tropical garden well looked after, excellent food especially the dinners reception staff very good Nice (the receptionist) collected aloe Vera for my sun burn generally all the staff are very friendly, wonderful massage, enjoyed walking into the village and beach and to top it all we went on the early morning trip and swam with the dolphins 😀Thank you xx

We took the half board offer and I have to say breakfast was good enough…not a buffet spread but a satisfying menue including a decent variety you can choose from

The Dinner Menu options on the other hand was excellent that we did not have to go elsewhere for a proper hot meal, we all enjoyed the different options offered every day

The common area and pool were great to sit and read a book or play cards. The food was good so were the cocktails. They even let us keep one room to keep our things and relax in for a late check at no charge

Amazing location, basically on the beach! Clean pool and clean rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. Me and my husband chose Matemwe for a more quiet time, it was as expected. Absolutely worth the money.

I opted for this hotel as it is close to the best snorkeling spots. The check-in went smooth and I was guided too my room, which was lovely decorated and clean as well

This spacious suite had also a bath room with a bath tub and shower as well. Additionally it also had a terrace. Outside you have a community pool and the restaurant as well

I did had B&B, so the breaksfast was included and for me it was sufficient (offering 4 different options + fruits, a fruit juice and tea)

It is a villa cabin hotel with unique furniture and excellent service. Breakfast can be ordered on site. There is a small supermarket in front of the hotel and you can see Mount Meru in front of the door.

Everything was really good apart from waiting staff who feel it’s ok to take 15 mins to bring back your change. Several times I had to ask for change when paying 2000 for a cup of tea & paid 10000 note
