The restaurant is very good. The best we have tried in Zanzibar by far. Do not miss the Cigale lobster it is a must eat in their restaurant. It is a very good deal and it is delicious

Very sweet and available staff. They did their best to bring our luggage back at our room after being lost by the airline company : we could haven’t done with the staff ! Very comfortable room , clean and with AC

And the restaurant food can be slightly improved. good! I will definitely recommend it!

A true amazing experience i had with my family including three little ones. It is in fact my second visit in the past three months!

However no fridge in the rooms. Meals are on demand pretty much any time, always fresh and excellent. Breakfast choices are limited but very good, i. there's no breakfast buffet as in resorts (for that, go to Nungwi)

Probably the best hotel in this area, which is the south branch of Jambiani. Extremely friendly and helpful service all round. Excellent queen bed with mosquito net (not that I needed it at the time)

Amazing location right at the beach, clean and comfy rooms, nice breakfast. Nasrin and Erwin were great hosts and the employees fullfilled our every wish from food&drinks to organazing activities. Thank you so much.

There was no air conditioner, but I was able to sleep because the wind was blowing through. It's like sleeping in a bungalow at a campsite. The view in front of the beach is spectacular

The staff were very friendly We feel that on the web site it should be stipulated that the locals frequent the resort and this will give the foreign visitors the option to book or not to book at the resort, as the local have no respect for their local resorts

We went to the dinning area the following morning and sadly walked past a resort that was dirty with plastic cups bottles paper napkins and bottles scattered all over. We had our breakfast, and returned to our room

The next day we did virtually the same and this time ordered king prawns and chips and fish and chips when eventually it arrive the prawns were not king prawns and had not been cleaned properly we found the service to be very slow

In the afternoon around 2pm we decided to go for lunch, we ordered our drinks which took about 15 mins to arrive fish and chips and calamari and chips, which took 1 hour to arrive

Room service was very slow only getting done around 10am. We decided to take a walk down the beach, which was full of rubbish which we also found disappointing

The resort was not busy so they had no excuse for being busy or over worked. But very tasty when eventually it arrived

This is the best place we have stayed in Africa. It was very welcome after safari. We only encountered one issue: Our beautiful room reeked of sulfur, we could not find the source.

A wonderful place, very cozy and in a great location. A fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful team who made my stay unforgettable

Beautiful property. People who works there just simply the best. Big, clean, modern room which smells amazing, with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was top! Pool and cocktails are perfect.

I’dve rated this place 5/5 if it wasn’t for the terrible sound of a constant PNEUMATIC HAMMER, from a next door construction, that starts at 8:35-45 am (everyday! but Sunday) and finished after 3pm (we always left at 3 pm to the beach so I’m not sure of the exact hour)

It is extremely inconvenient because it wakes you up in the morning and then you can’t peacefully spend your time by the pool when the sun is too strong to be on the beach

They have a very good restaurant and also a beach bar with sunbeds and with an extraordinary view. The fruits they gave with the breakfast were very tasty

One of the highlights is the excellent location, very close to Nungwi Beach, which made it easy to spend time by the beach and fully enjoy the surroundings

The restaurant staff were fantastic and went out of their way to recommend the best food options based on our dietary requirements, which we really appreciated

That said, overall it is a good hotel with great service, location, and atmosphere, especially for couples looking for a relaxing beachside stay

The rooms were clean and they sprayed our room every day with antimosquito spray. They offer a lot of programs as well like jazz night or morning yoga, massage. We’re really enjoyed our stay

Is a pet-friendly place, and we found many dogs (good treated) that make us the day because they were so cute and friendly!

Thank you so much to KHEIR and SHAIBU (I hope I wrote it right) for the very nice gesture they made to us when we asked for theirs hats and made us also 2 hats from the Palma tree leafs! They are gardening employees and very nice people! Also the whole staff is very nice specially the waiter you get assigned, we got Martini but were many others always having good conversation

What I really liked was the small scale and how the staff knew your name and took a great effort to fullfill your personal needs. It was so clean and beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious

Since I have been booking our safaris with Roy Safaris since 2015, this is the perfect hotel; the Roy Safaris headquarters is right next door. Naturally, we will be back next year! Excellent,highly recommended!

Good value hotel for Moshi Town. People were very helpful -0 especially Jospeh who went out of his way to ensure we got our luggage when KLM failed to deliver it via the airport

The rooms were spacious enough to lay out all my gear for a final check, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. After coming down from the mountain, the hot shower and the swimming pool felt like absolute heaven

While the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty in the rooms, it worked perfectly in the common areas, and the staff was incredibly accommodating with storing my extra luggage while I was on the trail

Albatross Ocean View is a wonderful small hotel. The whole staff is very friendly. Food, rooms and service are also excellent. Very familiar atmosphere. The staff also offers support in planning trips in Sansibar!

We had a beautiful room on the second floor wiht a spacious balcony and a wonderful view of the beach and the ocean. The rooms was nice and very clean. We can just recommend this place! Nothign to critizice at all

The hotel was very beautiful with great views of the ocean. The staff was very accomadating. With low tides in the mornings we were able to walk along the beach. This a secluded beach best for couples

The kitchen staff, especially Benson and Freeman, provided excellent service, and breakfast was consistently delicious

Aladaru, the manager, was kind and attentive throughout my stay, and I was pleased that there were no unexpected extra charges

I felt very safe and relaxed. If you are travelling to moshi this should be your spot. You won't regret booking with them. I must compliment the food , it was exquisite and served with classy!

Many people come here to watch football at night. Children on the street waving hello. The food here was out of this world good. I would be so excited for meals. Make sure to bring change for drinks

Excellent breakfast and a very good all-day menu. We loved the laid-back feel to the place, with wonderful sandy walkways and a pretty garden

Breakfast was great, fresh, happy hour pizza, beer, cocktails were a good deal. The pool and the rooms were regularly cleaned, and the whole property was maintained very well

We have stayed 5 days first, than we came back for additional 4 days, as this place offered the best comfort during our 20 days stay in Zanzibar

The most important for us was, that the staff was always smiling, and was always willing to do the extra mile

It was simple but elegant - and the entertainment was a fantastic extra - we enjoyed live acoustic music, a fire show on the beach and on our last night a drumming show with dancing on the sand

The Management team kindly credited our account with the slight difference in the room rates for those nights and generously provided complimentary dinner for two nights as a welcome apology for any inconvenience we encountered

This stay was honestly something out of a dream. Having a room that overlooks the beach was already incredible, but the private mini pool took the whole experience to another level

Sitting in the pool while enjoying the endless ocean view it truly felt like an infinity escape. Waking up to the sound of the waves and that uninterrupted view of the sea was so peaceful and refreshing

This hotel is right on the beach and had an excellent restaurant. The management was extremely kind and went to the pharmacy for us to pick up some medication for sea sickness. This hotel could use some refreshing

It’s the kind of place where you can completely switch off and just soak in the beauty around you. Everything about the stay felt luxurious yet so calming

The best quality food was carefully prepared and served in sensible proportions by the ever-smiling Jessica. Each night there was 3 to 4 offerings, paired with more than acceptable wines, mainly from the Cape

Xanadu, saved our first vacation to Zanzibar. We had booked 11 nights elsewhere on the Island and checked out after 7 (see Mora report). Xanadu was a completely different experience and one which we hope to repeat

We had booked the Umande Villa, perfectly fine, but for a small upgrade fee we were introduced to the Alfajiri, a whole different level of design and space, of course we couldn’t say no

The arrival sets the scene, a broken road leads to a hidden gate house, then slightly beyond a mysterious gate opens to a memorable welcome from Leigh (GM) and Jessica (Private Butler)

Friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced staying in a hotel. A 5- star treatment in a 4-star place. The rooms are basic but clean and all amenities are available

Abeid, restaurant manager, had one mission and that was to make sure we had everything we need and we’re taken care off

The room is big but needs some maintenance; the shower tube leaks so bad, the hair dryer works when it decides to do so and it s very old, only 1 big & 1 small towel provided for the 3 days stay, the city tax is so expensive ($8/day)

My room, a garden room with terrace on the ground floor smelt of paint and the aging furniture looked as though it had been hastily painted with white ceiling paint. The a/c unit sounded like a tractor starting up

The beach-view restaurant at Coral Beach Hotel served some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. If you’re a seafood lover, this place won’t disappoint

The outside restaurant is pleasant with a good view of the bay, but despite being friendly many of the wait staff have poor english. You have to have patience when making yourself understood

A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Zanbluu We stayed at Zanbluu Hotel for one week, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was outstanding, and our front-row bungalow with a private pool right on the beach was pure paradise

There is also a large infinity pool for guests to use if you do not want to upgrade to private settings. Our visit included the full all-inclusive package, which was an added cost, but was well worth it

Finally, the staff was amazing, from conversation to providing the best service, organizing excursions and taxis, kudos to this whole boutique resort

All non-alcoholic, waters, coffees, and as well the alcoholic drinks and meals are included with the package, try the sangria!! I must also add, compliments to the chef, the meals were always delicious

We have a partial ocean view which features a small dip pool/tub, private chairs for sunbathing as well as chairs on the small patio. By all means, upgrade to the partial ocean view - it’s worth it

The staff was excellent, the chefs are everything the food was great everyday. It’s great for family vacation cuz it’s private, spacious and loads of space to hangout as a group

This place looks exactly if not even better in real life. My family and I had a fantastic stay at the villas. The direct access to the beach meant sunrise walks along the beach which my parents loved

1st floor complete with kitchen, family room and bedroom for anyone unable to climb stairs. 2nd floor has two bedrooms and baths both with balcony. One is master suite with TV and larger bath

We actually booked both villas as we were a large group, which it was perfect for as it turns out you’re able to join the two rooftops by opening a divider to make one large space
