Nice staff I arrived after dinner, and they thought I was a no-show so they gave up my premium room. The next day they moved me to a nice room. The place itself is definitely not fancy. The hotel is great, 2 little pools inside the garden, stuff are super nice. There is a beach club owned by the hotel. Beach chairs, food & drinks are all within a walkable distance. Peace and quiet. Really nice beach so peaceful in the mornings during the day there is the odd seller trying to push tours but nothing like stone Town and Nungwi so many bars and restaurants with direct beach access. If you visit anywhere in zanzibar put jambiani on the list

There are renovated rooms, as well as old rooms. Some rooms have a refrigerator, some rooms do not. The air conditioner is located directly above the bed, and the blanket is a sheet. In the old rooms there is no partition between the toilet and shower. The location is great, if not for the "den" on the nearest street, where local drinkers hang out)) You will definitely not be able to pass unnoticed...

As far as I can tell it's the cheapest place that you are looking at the beach off the porch or balcony. I paid 30$ for a room with a fan and an AC room costs 40$. I have peeked at other rooms that are nice but my room is unsophisticated ( no nightstands there is a space for a wardrobe but not one there!) Not dingy though and cleaned every day. The bathroom is a little lacking. Old but not terrifying...
