We were looking for a getaway and the Diamond Mapenzi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar was exactly what we needed. Comprising of endless days in the sun, friendly staff and the most exquisite resort. The beaches were clean and easily accessible. The resort is spacious and can be as private as you want to be. This is a place that recharges your batteries and wants you to come back for more !!

Spent a lovely 9 days at this hotel. The place was spotless and so well run. The food was delicious and all of the staff exceptional. Id like to make a special mention of Waziri who was so attentive to our needs around the beach area. Would have given 5 stars but our towels were not changed the whole time we were there.

What is Diamonds mapenzi? Is the place where you can recharge after work hard and make your holiday unforgettable. Starting animation team to the all department staff are extremely unforgettable special animation team made our holiday went above and beyond. Everything was great beach room, pools, foood gardens and check in and check out Hopefully back again !

We were welcomed with such generosity from the friendliest staff. A special shout out to Omar who did our introductory walk through and by the time we left, we could sincerely call him a friend. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking, our room was always made up beautifully and very clean. One of our favorite parts of the day was going to dinner, and walking into Herith - who went out of her way to make our trip so much more fun and enjoyable! The entertainment was brilliant and the variety of activities was endless. We will definitely be back to Diamonds Mapenzi, to come back and visit our now chosen family there. The most incredible week with special school friends of over 50 years! Couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful resort to have our precious reunion. Staff were all exceptional! Nothing is ever too much for them. Treated like queens all week. The resort runs so smoothly. Could not recommend more highly.

Very nice hotel with good and professional staff since we arrived we received an amazing service from all departments. Special thank to the animation team Herieth, Kombo, Veronica, Alessia, Elisa, James, Miraji, Janette and the recreational manager Jamal. We played beach volley tournaments, we partecipated to the fashion show and we really enjoy during our honeymoon. Restaurant and food in general are excellent and very various. Rooms are spaciuos, clean and without moskito. We hope to come back again.

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach, with a safari in between, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was in order and we enjoyed every single moment. The resort is beautifully maintained and instantly gives you the authentic feeling of Zanzibar and Africa. It’s one of those rare hidden gems that deserves to be on every traveler’s list. A very special thanks goes to Jamal and his entire team, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel at home and turned our trip into something even more memorable. This is truly one of those places where photos don’t do it justice - you have to experience it yourself. Stunning, authentic, and unforgettable. Definitely not our last visit!

Had a fantastic 6 days here after our Safari, the staff are all very friendly and make your stay special, rooms are very clean and spacious, location is right on the beach where I need to give special thanks to Baraza & Wazisi who work so hard in getting the sunbeds put where you want them, nothing is too much trouble. Always there when you need them.

The hotel was nice. The only problem was that there were no quilts. I was freezing even with the AC off. I was too lazy to ask for one.

Had a great stay here for 12 nights in late Feb / early March. Such a lovely resort with well cared for and colourful gardens and really authentic buildings/style that allow you to get a proper Zanzibar feel. Food is great - varied and always lots of options, healthy too with lots of veg and tropical fruits (special thanks to Vinoth and Victor!). The staff here are fantastic - always friendly and asking if you have everything you need or would like another drink (special thanks to Zabiru at the beach bar and Zainab and Sitty!). We had a great stay - many thanks all!
