I loved everything but to name a few: the stunning beach that even has a walkway into the ocean, the hotel staff’s attention to guest, the gym, the location, the spa and overall the smell of flowers/plants all over the resort. The resort has a charm that all those large hotels (that are so impersonal) miss out on. There was always plenty of food so even the pickiest eater can find something. There is entertainment most of the night and twice a week there is massai dinner/entertainment.

I just went with my cousin for dinner and it was terrible. They charged us twice because their pos was broken and separated us, forcing my cousin with his little english to double pay. The next day we spent two hours there and no solution. Terrible place and terrible personnel, would never ever spend a single day in the huge and run down place 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Leaving the Karafuu Hotel in Zanzibar after a week was incredibly emotional for us — words truly fall short. Our stay went far beyond anything we had imagined, and every aspect of it was exceptional. The stunning beach, the well-kept and comfortable rooms, and the outstanding food already made the experience unforgettable. However, what truly set this holiday apart was the genuine warmth, kindness, and joyful attitude of the hotel staff. We have never felt so sincerely welcomed and cared for anywhere else. A special thank you goes to Nurdin, Jackson, and Khadija, who went above and beyond to look after us, organize activities, entertain us, and turn each day into a wonderful memory. Every moment felt truly special. We are absolutely certain that this won’t be our last visit to the Karafuu Hotel — we can’t wait to return.

Words cannot describe how we felt leaving the Karafuu Hotel in Zanzibar after one week. It exceeded all our expectations – everything was simply amazing. The beautiful beach, the comfortable and well-maintained accommodation, and the delicious food alone would have made our holiday unforgettable, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible kindness and cheerfulness of the hotel staff. They treated us with such warmth and care as we have never experienced anywhere else before. We would especially like to thank Nurdin, Jackson, and Khadija for taking such wonderful care of us, organizing programs, entertaining us, and making every single moment truly memorable. Every minute spent there was magical. We are absolutely sure that we will return to the Karafuu Hotel again!

I had an absolutely amazing diving experience with the Karufuu Hotel Diving Center in Wimbi. The whole team is highly professional, well-organized, and truly passionate about what they do. My instructor Omar was exceptional — calm, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He made every dive feel safe, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. A big thank you as well to the captains, Siadi and Suma, who were always helpful, friendly, and professional. From the very first moment, the team supported us with everything, creating a very comfortable and stress-free atmosphere. The dive sites were simply breathtaking — crystal-clear water, vibrant colors, and a rich, diverse underwater world full of life. Every dive felt like entering a beautiful underwater paradise. I am truly grateful to the entire team for their warm, friendly attitude and positive energy. Thanks to you, this diving experience became unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone who wants not just to dive, but to truly enjoy every moment underwater!

Wonderful accommodation, beautiful location, incredibly friendly staff. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, and if we visit Zanzibar again, we will definitely choose this hotel. The food and activities were excellent every day, they have the best animation team, thank you to Nurdin, Jackson, and Khadija for everything. Asante sana🤍

The room was very cozy, and the staff were kind and friendly. Here, I could completely relax and lie down, enjoying three days of complete physical and mental rest. Wow!

We had a lovely time in this paradise. Location is perfect with a scenic view. Food was fantastic with lots of fresh seafood. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, always very helpful. Big thanks to Olivia George from reception, Jackson from animation team and Julio from Africa Spirit!

We were on half board and no choice to eat outside as the hotel is quite isolated. Food is very average and touristy. I was not impressed. The rooms meaning the bungalows are in desperate need of renovation. Someone from our group saw a snake outside their bungalow door

We arrived midnight the staff were all organised to welcome us at the middle of their nights. Our rooms were all ok a sign of starting new chapter in Africa. Breakfast with a lot of selection i can not complain, Swimming pools 3 you wont miss swimming. Katafuu is stress free zone. The compaund is huge you can run for exercises and the gym is good enough. We will come back again next year during Christmas Ahsante sana
