Paje, Paje Beach 🧭 Map

This resort is really comfortable clean and well maintained grounds and pool. Ocean view and many activities along the beach. Onsite restaurant, bar, massage and beach access with chairs & towels. Great friendly staff and accomdating.
Review of Wasabi, Restaurant inside the Cristal Resort, I confirm my previous review, perfect location in Paje, beautiful private beach, simple resort, nice environment, however it is a bit sad, no atmosphere, no music, staff not particularly welcoming. We wanted to eat Uramaki and we went back to Wasabi, we ordered more types of Uramaki, with raw tuna, vegetarian, and with shrimp, all good and well...
Cristal would be a great resort so long as you’re not there on music night - the pounding music started before 6pm and was supposed to finish at midnight but actually finished at 2am. All this was less than 50 metres from both the restaurant (making conversation difficult) and from a number of rooms including several for our group (so struggled to sleep). And all for less than 20 people. And to make...
I wholeheartedly recommend the Cristal Resort in Zanzibar for an enchanting escape. Nestled amid stunning surroundings, this resort offers a unique blend of elegance and comfort. The attention to detail in the design, coupled with personalized service, creates a truly luxurious experience. The Cristal Resort's commitment to showcasing local culture and flavors is evident in its exceptional dining options
Great 👍 "Exceptional stay! Impeccable service, stylish ambiance, and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond, creating a memorable experience. A perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Highly recommend for an unforgettable getaway."
One of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. White sand between coconut trees and amazing tourquize colors of the Indian Ocean. Very good Asiatic menue, and most importantly lovely welcoming team. Rooms are ok good clean no luxury but for such level of stars and price it's very ok. breakfast is nice and tasty. lovely bar on the beach. on Thursday they have great beach show and party call Pamoja...

It's such a nice place to be that's well secure, very pleased and cool, you can see a daily sunrise and sunset, it also covered by natural plants
It's a lovely place to stay. Neat and clean . The staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good. Good place to relax.
Great place for holiday. Nice rooms and staff, the place is directly on a wonderfull beach. Wi fi signal is weak. The restaurant has a great menu, different choices og local and international food.
Lovely place with a nice pool. Food is good as well. Quite nice beach and very relaxing. Totally worth it if your looking for peace and calm with a fair bit of luxury. Very kind and helpful staff, highly recommended.
Very nice place. Very friendly and cooperating staff. Good food. Great facilities. Pool and beach are attractive. Great room. Every thing was excellent.
Amazing place to stay with great hospitality and treatment from the staff. Also, a very nice restaurant to have your lunch and dinner. It has a beautiful view of the sea and is surrounded with wonderful and well maintained gardens.

Everything about this resort was great, accommodation was very good, big room, with a great shower / bathroom. The food was good, enjoyed the different culture food every night. We met great people, still friends after the trip, we did most of the excursions together. Will be back if we can!
The hotel is beautiful. I had a rest. People are so kind and helpful, always smiling and spreading positive energy. I LOVED the food. Everyday we had something delicious. Soups were my favourite! A Lot of salads and yummy drinks. I want to come back soon again!
Great spot for a restful getaway. All staff very friendly and helpful. This resort seems to be popular with big groups. So you may need to wait a little to get checked in (or get help in general) but don't worry, you will be attended to very soon. Rooms clean and comfy - basic, but what more do you need? It's a beach resort with great weather, so I was only in the room to sleep and shower anyway...
The resort was amazing, perfectly situated on the beach. Drinks were good and lot of variety available. The food was also good despite being a buffet option for the all inclusive package. The only negative was the rooms are not as fancy or as well maintained but it was good enough, comfortable and cleaned daily. Would definitely recommend for a family stay. The evening entertainment was really fun...
the final bill was higher than what we used, so... The check-out time is until 10, although when we ordered in the online system it was written that until 11 o'clock. Staying in the room until 11 was not allowed. The food is delicious, but I saw the waiter putting the food that fell out back into the dish. Some of the staff are very polite, but certainly not all. The location is great, the beach too...
Good value for money, overall quite satisfied

Green Mountain has officially become my favourite hotel in Arusha. It has everything you could possibly want - beautiful swimming pool, fully equipped gym, delicious restaurant, fantastic service and great WiFi (which is hard to find in Arusha!) It would recommend to anyone looking for either long term or quick stop over. It is close enough to town that you can get a quick bajaji or taxi into town...
This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Green Mountain Hotel. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and everything is always perfectly clean. The pool area is very relaxing and a great place to chill after a long day. The restaurant is also very good and works 24/7, which is extremely convenient if you arrive late or have an irregular schedule. But if there’s one thing I must...
Our stay was excellent. Great breakfast, excellent gym, comfortable rooms, kind employees. I will come back for sure.

We stayed here for two nights recently at the end of a safari holiday. Our flight home was changed and we had two extra unexpected nights in Tanzania. We found the Springlands Hotel fine. The pool area was good and they had comfortable sun beds. Our room was fine but my son’s room next door was a bit dark and dingy. We had full board there and found the food to be good. It is clear that efforts...
Our US travel agency booked us here. We stayed two nights because we wanted to do a day hike before starting our safari. The hotel is affiliated with ZARA Safari Tours, so their groups were coming and going. ZARA provided us with a very professional guide and driver for our day hike. There is a pool, but this is not a resort. It is just a place to prepare for a climb, or to relax and celebrate after...
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic and made our safari trip even more special. As a couple, we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and using the spa and convenient services like the forex bureau. The food was excellent, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything about our stay felt welcoming and comfortable, making it an ideal base for our safari...
The hotel is closely involved with tours to climb Kilimanjaro and some safaris. The main impression is that it is friendly and efficient. Food is good and gear can be hired. You can store items for safe keeping while climbing. The hotel is out of town and gated. The grounds are attractive. However some of the rooms are a bit basic. Overall if you are here to climb, it will serve its purpose well.
We highly recommend Springlands Hotel! It was the perfect spot before and after our Kilimanjaro trek. The spacious, spotless rooms were so comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has beautiful grounds, making it a peaceful retreat. The pool was a great way to relax after a long day. The professional, friendly staff made everything easy, and the location in Moshi is super convenient...
Springlands Hotel was the perfect start and end to our Tanzania safari. We stayed two nights before and one after, and every part of our stay was fantastic. We could safely store safari gear, and anything we forgot was easy to borrow...

I had a very pleasant time, the service was perfect, I have absolutely no complaints. No further comment needed 🤗
It's a bit far from the city center, but it's okay unless you're on a business trip.
Nice staff Low season, terrible breakfast. Neighbour hotel chuini saved this stay with amazing lunch and dinner. Comfty beds. Friendly staff.
Staff seem to do the best they can despite limitations, very picturesque in itself however was told to get cash to pay for food and expenses as their card machine was not working.
The best Gym I found in an hotel (even a/c didn't work) . The room was enormous, clean and quiet. The Road for getting there Is in bad conditions, as the standard of the Island, excerpt main roads. Breakfast Is simple but good enaugh. Staff very helpful, a nearby beach Is very "authentic" with few europeans. Good experience.
A safe refuge in a chaotic island The stay was very lovely compared to the surrounding parts of Zanzibar. You sometimes forgot there was a world outside the resort. The staff was very respectful and helpful. Grisham in particular was very professional, reliable, well-spoken with English, and was able to meet all our requests (including having breakfast made earlier than normal for our flight) with...

The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful! Heads up: the beach had a lot of sea urchins in January. There were some local youths that showed us safe passage and starfish, sea spiders, lionfish, etc. right there on our beach for a small fee. For swimming the hotel pool was beautiful. The food in the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and good.

Exemplary beauty. Tranquility at best. Lovely beachfront, sugar white sand. Delicious food and pleasant staff. Highly recommend this place.
Hakuna Majiwe is a safe, clean, and well-maintained location, offering a pleasant living environment. It is advisable to prepare a well-structured budget, as there may be unexpected costs, such as the Zanzibar government tourism taxes. While prices are somewhat higher than average, which is typical for similar destinations, the quality of services provided is excellent and meets expectations.
After a week of safari in mainland, we were dleighted to rest in such a great place. The team had been very welcoming and always available. We had a very good experience. Their food is so nice. We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant by Hafidh and he served us very well..
The hotel is great, very welcoming Cleaned and environmentally sound However it is located very far (about 1h30min) from what we call “pinterest” beaches. At the moment we came, the roads were in chaos due to roadworks and repairs. Overall, for those who just want to stay at the hotel, without really wanting to explore the city, it’s a great choice.

We stayed only one night - but an amazing place. Irene was amazing helping us when an accident needed a hospital visit. Service is excellent. The grounds wonderful.
It is a villa cabin hotel with unique furniture and excellent service. Breakfast can be ordered on site. There is a small supermarket in front of the hotel and you can see Mount Meru in front of the door.
Very good, small and beautiful, very attentive service
I stayed in Arusha for two days on a business trip. I booked a place because it was close to the airport. But there was nothing nearby. There was a dirt road at the entrance. A meal at the hotel restaurant cost $20 (pictured). There were 7-8 power outages a day, and the internet went down with the power outage. I could only see Mount Meru from a distance.
Service was excellent! WiFi has been upgraded to provide different access for different areas of hotel and we always had availability. This is our second stay having stayed here in Dec 2018. The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff very helpful. We would like in paticular to thank Joshua and Irene (front of house) and Aisha and Nicolas (in the restaurant).
Good customer service snd support especially from Mr.Joshua Very good person and taking care guests with good attitude and support
Hotel was really nice and Joshua (porter) and the rest of the staff were super friendly. Comfy beds and large room. Would stay again.
The beddings are old. Vacuum cleaners needs to be introduced instead of those mops that keep transfer hair from one room to another. It was an eyesore. Location was great. Staff members were courteous and diligent in their work, except for the housekeeping team, but that’s largely management’s fault.
The service is amazing and the rooms are so beautiful, the twins,(Jacob and Joshua ) made my leaving experience the best. The bar space is chill and nice and the reception is always filled with positive people, I don’t understand Kiswahili really well but the Ones that were speaking English made everything awesome and easy

Very good hotel with great workers. Very well located in front of the beautiful sea. Thank you for everything !
