Vert serene and Great location, nice view of the ocean. Very very slow service. There is a charge of Tsh5000 entrance free that is paid cash and you have to pay as long as you get inn no matter how much you spend on food and drinks.
We stayed at Kajiji Beach Resort from the evening of the 21st Dec to the morning of 27th December. We arrived late on the 21st so went straight to our room, lovely air conditioned and clean Linen. We went to the dinning area the following morning and sadly walked past a resort that was dirty with plastic cups bottles paper napkins and bottles scattered all over. We had our breakfast, and returned to...
My wife and I stayed here for 12 hours, but that was by choice due to an extended layover at Dar es Salaam. We selected Kijiji to be near the beach, it has a pool and a decent room to relax it while we wait for our flights. The taxi to the hotel costs $35, and upon check in, we waited for about an hour for our room (we checked in early, so no fault on the hotel here). Area grounds were nice, but for...
The biggest advantages of this resort are the food, the beach, and the staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The only issues I had were with the AC remote, which kept breaking, and the drain in the shower, which was clogged (but it was fixed quickly). The swimming pool wasn’t very clean, so I didn’t use it. The spa is cheap but not really worth a visit, I paid for a 1-hour massage and...
Rooms are so good, and having a dressing room, bathrooms are also really good.
Beds are also so comfortable with a mosquito net, WIFI is perfect.
Restaurant food is good with a moderate pricing, and bar is also excellent.
There are so friendly rabbits roaming inside the hotel complex, but they get scared so easily.
Water in the pool is always foggy, so I could not swim in it.
Swimming in the ocean...
It's cool place to chill with relatives and exchange some ideas 💡

We had a lovely time in this hotel, it’s a little paradise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful also with program recommendations. They have a very good restaurant and also a beach bar with sunbeds and with an extraordinary view. The fruits they gave with the breakfast were very tasty.
The rooms were clean and they sprayed our room every day with antimosquito spray. They offer a lot of programs...
The hotel has a great ambience, along with a lovely pool and well‑maintained amenities, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were truly friendly and helpful, always readily available when we needed assistance.
One of the highlights is the excellent location, very close to Nungwi Beach, which made it easy to spend time by the beach and fully enjoy the surroundings.
The restaurant staff...
I definitely recommend staying at Maisha. Calm location and close to Nungwi beach and central area.
Clean rooms and amazing service.
A massive shoutout to their staff: all of them very friendly, helpful, polite and always with a smile. Interaction with guests was beyond any place I have stayed before!
Well done to all of the team!
The Maisha Nungwi was a wonderful place to start our honeymoon! The people were extraordinary, friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar/Restaurant is awesome, the food is great, the view is beautiful. We recommend booking the Nungwi walking Tour with Izzy (!) The dolphin/snorkelling experience was also great. There were some small "hiccups" like a lot of mosquitos even tho the hotel tries to keep them away...
We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Nungwi Beach Boutique Hotel. They have great location. It is true, that it is not on the beach, but it is a minute away. As well as their second bigger restaurant, which is on the beach and has an amazing sunset atmosphere at the dinner. We enjoyed food there very much and staff was so friendly. The room was clean and well equipped with both air conditioning...
The hotel is great, 2 little pools inside the garden, stuff are super nice.
There is a beach club owned by the hotel. Beach chairs, food & drinks are all within a walkable distance.
Downside - wifi is not very stable inside the hotel, beach club has a better connection in general. The water stopped twice when i wanted to take a shower, eventually i went down to the pool shower.

The hotel bedroom furnished is out of style. The bathroom is very small. The hotel is located right by the public market and bus station. It is very convenient walking around the city center, where there are so many businesses and banks. The staff was awesome and friendly. The restaurant has a nice view where you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the city view.
The hotel is located in the center of Arusha, opposite the bus station. The area is very busy, and traffic can be very congested during rush hour. However, it is in a lively part of the city, surrounded by various markets, shops, and artisans of all kinds. The food is decent, and overall a positive experience.
As it is near the Central Market and bus terminal, noise can be a concern in the morning.
The facilities are not good. The elevator stops. There are power outages. It's lively and noisy at night. The staff is friendly and nice. The room is not bad. There is no hair dryer or razor. There is no shampoo. The worst thing is that they say I haven't paid when I check out. They don't check even though I paid online by credit card. They ask me for proof, which is annoying.
We just stayed for one night before our safari started. The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It also has a nice little restaurant. One thing to be aware of is that the surrounding area is very busy, with a market, bus station, and a mosque very close. So, there was quite a bit of city noise during our stay.
Spacious room with double bed, coffee table and two chairs. Basic bathroom with hot shower. Hotel is opposite bus station so room is very noisy. We ate breakfast on the balcony from where you can observe all the hustle and bustle of the bus station. Breakfast was good and waitress serving breakfast was friendly (unlike receptionist upon arrival). Porter helped to organise a taxi to the airport.

We cannot commend this resort enough! It was an absolute fabulous stay and Julius the Manager is absolutely amazing! Amazing food and ambience! A resort well maintained and well run!
Fabulous hotel in lovely location. Rooms are individual bungalows some with private pools. The staff are amazing - thanks especially to Frank. Food was delicious
Love love love it here! We Felt so welcome the start and from then it only got better. Everything we asked for was given. What I really liked was the small scale and how the staff knew your name and took a great effort to fullfill your personal needs. It was so clean and beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. And everything was so beautifully decorated. The food and drinks were perfect...
Thank you so much to KHEIR and SHAIBU (I hope I wrote it right) for the very nice gesture they made to us when we asked for theirs hats and made us also 2 hats from the Palma tree leafs! This is an excellent hotel located directly on the long beautiful beach on the east coast of Sansibar. The hotel has a large pool sourounded by palm trees and other tropical plants. Very friendly management and staff who pay attention to you whenever needed. Good food and a large selection of wines and drinks. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. A lovely place to spend your holiday on Sansibar
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always friendly — everyone had a smile on their face. A special thank you to the lovely lady who served us every day during breakfast and dinner; she was truly wonderful! The hotel was also clean, tidy, and beautifully maintained. Good value hotel for Moshi Town. People were very helpful -0 especially Jospeh who went out of his way to ensure we got our luggage when KLM failed to deliver it via the airport. He wasnt unique - all the staff were very helpful
Otherwise, it's far too true for just one night.
I stayed at the Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel in Moshi both before and after my 6-day Marangu climb, and it served as the perfect sanctuary for a trekker. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the rooftop bar, which offers an unobstructed, majestic view of Mount Kilimanjaro that gets you incredibly pumped for the journey ahead. Great time in this human scale hotel , with great service , and great place . We have stayed Ten Days , i was a great experience , really peacefull. The staff is really sympathic , and we had great surprise form the staff during our romantic stay.
The hotel was very beautiful with great views of the ocean. The staff was very accomadating. With low tides in the mornings we were able to walk along the beach. This a secluded beach best for couples. Our suite was ocean front with the best views of the ocean
The hotel was very good, I would definitely come back here if I visit Zanzibar again. The service and food were of very good quality, we took the all inclusive package which I would recommend when you stay here. It contains all food (a la carte) and drinks, including very nice cocktails made with fresh fruits.

From the moment we arrived the experience was exceptional. The property is amazing, the people are unbelievably kind, and display their passion through their work/service to the guest.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Arusha Serena Hotel for two nights. The room we had was quiet, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The walking trails that crisscrossed the grounds provided lovely views. The staff was incredible. Every need was met with a...
We arrived early and were delighted to be welcomed to our rooms upon arrival. A gardener/naturalist named Pray (sp?) provided a very informative walk though the beautiful landscaping, the kitchen gardens, and the edge of Lake Duluti, describing and explaining the flora and fauna (especially birds). Enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet.
Pray is one of the gardeners at Arusha Serena Hotel in Tanzania, Africa. Pray lead us on an excellent tour of the grounds of the Arusha Serena Hotel. His knowledge is extensive of the plants, flowers, trees and wildlife of Tanzania. Pray had a desire to advance his career as a conservation specialist in Tanzania. He taught us so much about Tanzania.
We found this a perfect, beautiful place to enjoy our 4 days pre safari. The hotel is safe and friendly with exceptional employees. Bottom line up front: Ask to meet Praygod and go on a wonderful adventure around the property and adjacent lake. We had a lovely 3 day stay at the Arusha Lodge before beginning our trip. Xanadu, saved our first vacation to Zanzibar. We had booked 11 nights elsewhere on the Island and checked out after 7 (see Mora report). Xanadu was a completely different experience and one which we hope to repeat. The arrival sets the scene, a broken road leads to a hidden gate house, then slightly beyond a mysterious gate opens to a memorable welcome from Leigh (GM) and Jessica (Private Butler)....
We had the most beautiful stay at this stunning, hidden gem in Zanzibar. We had an amazing stay this September with friends. The villas were beautiful, spacious, and perfectly designed for comfort and relaxation. The hotel is tired.
My room, a garden room with terrace on the ground floor smelt of paint and the aging furniture looked as though it had been hastily painted with white ceiling paint. The a/c unit sounded like a tractor starting up.

I had a fantastic stay at Coral Beach Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape by the sea. The hotel offers breathtaking beach views that you can enjoy right from the restaurant or while lounging by the pool.

Having stayed at several other properties on the peninsular I decided to stay at the Coral Beach because of it's proximity to the Dar Yacht Club.
Check in was uneventful. The rooms are dated and I didn't have any view to speak of. The outside restaurant is pleasant with a good view of the bay, but despite being friendly many of the wait staff have poor english. You have to have patience when making...
Disappointing to say the least! This place ruined my vacation. Horrible customer service experience staying at this hotel. The only thing that's good is the view. Other than that it's TRASH! Don't waste your money. The rooms smell of mould, the shower doesn't drain as it should, sewage smell, the service is slower than a snail. Go figure!
This hotel far exceeded our expectations! The bathrooms had recently been renovated and it was obvious. I loved the decor and attention to detail of the decorations in our room! It's good to stay close to airport for some reason. (Flight mess, transit...) But not for relaxation or long stay
After a long day of sightseeing and exploring the bustling streets of the city, the hotel provided a peaceful and luxurious retreat. From the moment we stepped through the grand, historic entryway, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance that permeated the property.
Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with plush bedding, high ceilings, and large windows overlooking the tranquil lake...

A pretty okay hotel
The hotel is decent for it's price level, but there were a few things that affected our experience in a negative manner.
First of all, the aircondition in our room (room 105) had been tampered with so that the efficiency of the aircon was at perhaps 20%. This is common in Tanzania in order to save electricity, but the result was that we felt very hot and had difficulty sleeping...

We stayed in the beautifully decorated and very clean 2 Bedroom Suite with private balcony and seaview overlooking the pool...
An absolutely amazing stay!
The hosts and staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always go the extra mile. The hotel is so peaceful and comfortable that we ended up spending most of our time there instead of going on excursions. Great food with generous portions, lovely beach atmosphere, and even a complimentary boat/snorkeling trip to enjoy with other guests. Truly a home away from home. Highly...
African Paradise was a fantastic place to stay in the south of Zanzibar. It is located right on the beach, although note that the tide changes drastically during the day.
The hotel is clean and rooms are well-equipped. A fantastic breakfast is served every morning. There is also a great lunch and dinner menu.
Customer service is great; the staff and management are all so friendly and went above and...
African Paradise in Bwejuu, Zanzibar truly lives up to its name 🌴✨ After reading the positive reviews from other guests, my expectations were high—and somehow, this place exceeded them. From the moment you arrive, you feel an incredible sense of calm and warmth. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautifully authentic, and perfectly designed for total relaxation.
The owners are absolutely amazing: kind,...

At first, we almost canceled our stay because the hotel didn't have a pool, which our daughter loves. But we're so glad we didn't!
This hotel was a LOVELY surprise like no other. We had to switch from a nearby hotel after five nights, and it turned out to be the BEST decision. The hotel is like a hidden treasure, made with SO MUCH love by the staff and owners. Pia was so kind and made us feel at home...

Welcome to Paradise - Great Price Value
We have known this property since the early beginnings. First time was in 2015. We saw several managers come and go.
This month, the hotel was reopened by a lovely British/Tanzanian couple and they are here to stay.
It has only 12 rooms and you have a great view. Garden is beautiful and chickens are running around. This is a place where you can really relax...
It was butiq hotel experience than no high expectations, ower and wife still around. I stay this place back 2014 and last year but just had time to write about it. If you don’t get there everything easy and helpful. We had issues with internal small airline I end up getting 2 more time of island ticket. Anyway just do it one time of deal and don’t forget do red monkey tour.
Very nice hotel! The owner especially. They helped us with everything, organizing tours, giving tips, getting the transfers. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Super close to the beach, they even have their own beach bar!
One of the best boutique hotels on the Island.
With it's calm atmosphere and kind staff it's an absolutely must to visit in Zanzibar.
The food was amazing.
Everything about this place was perfect for us.
The perfect place for an authentic Zanzibar experience!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and were more than happy with our experience!
The food is delicious, the rooms are very spacious and the staff are super friendly. This small, typical hotel is located in an authentic village, with a private beach just a 1-minute walk away. This may seem surprising at first glance, but in reality the place...

**A Hidden Gem in Zanzibar!**
My stay at Zan View Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a hilltop above the charming fishermen's village of Kairo, this hotel offers breathtaking views and a true Zanzibari experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the pristine white sands of Kiwengwa Beach.
The staff at Zan View Hotel are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure...
