The Humble Villas in Ban Bang Po

Its a bit pricy during high season or for room type but I understand if you looking for peace and privacy, you totally find it here. No typical tourists, no noisy activity just waves and a few fishing boat. The room has no TV and private dipping pool.

We love the ocean and service here ! Breakfast is amazing ! The ocean is perfect for November time z The only thing is the top villa is noisy as you can hear the traffic, and the light makes sound as well , the bathroom needs more ventilation.

We stayed at The Humble Villas and absolutely loved it!
The villas are clean and very cozy. The private pool is a true delight—you can relax anytime. The atmosphere is tranquil and secluded, yet everything you need is close by.
I especially want to mention the stunning views—the villas offer stunning panoramas, and you can admire the sea and palm trees while having breakfast in the café. A true paradise for the soul!
The beach near the hotel isn't exactly ideal for swimming, but that didn't bother us at all. You can safely splash around during high tide, and if you want to snorkel, just swim a little further beyond the rock line—a rich underwater world awaits. However, the water gets deeper immediately, so you need to be a confident swimmer.
A 7-Eleven and convenience stores are within walking distance, where you can buy everything you need. Nathon Pier is also nearby, offering massage parlors, cafes, and an evening market with delicious food.
The promenade near the hotel is lined with many cozy restaurants and cafes. Everything is within walking distance, so you can try new places every day.
For convenience, it's best to rent a scooter—it's difficult to get around Koh Samui without one, but this makes it easy to get to the beaches and explore the island.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable, right at home.
Bottom line: I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a combination of comfort, convenience, and the authentic Koh Samui atmosphere. If you're unsure, don't hesitate—choose this hotel! We'll definitely be back!

I cannot stress enough how utterly awesome this place is. Each bungalow has a private plunge pool, a sunset view, and is right on the beach for quick access. The breakfast is absolutely spectacular, your choice of everything from Thai to eggs Benedict. The beds are very soft and the rooms have air conditioning. Will definitely come back here again. My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights last month and loved our experience! The staff were very friendly, the room was so comfortable, and the breakfast was truly delicious every day. We knew beforehand that we didn’t want to swim in the sea so we were fine with the beach not really being swimmable. The plunge pool at our room and the pool beside the breakfast nook were good enough.

If you rent a scooter, everywhere in Samui is pretty reachable. If not, there are some restaurants within walking distance. It’s on the other side of the island from the airport/main city. Perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet like we were.

For the price point, we were very pleased with our stay. Definitely look into booking here if you’re fine with all the points that I mentioned.

Great place, friendly staff and service. Good attention to detail in things like beach bags and towels, etc. Plunge pool by room is great and the main pool big enough.

Only downside is the 'villas' (its just a room with bed and sofa but as described so no issue) are semi detached so if you get a chatty neighbor you are gonna hear them

Quite a lot of mosquitoes get in somehow but they give you repellent and a net

The hotel is very beautiful with very nice rooms with a swimming pool and a view of the beach. On the other hand, the hotel is quite far from the livelier places of the island (allow 30-40 minutes by scooter) and there is not much nearby, it will be essential to have a means of transport. The hotel itself is nice, quiet and conducive to rest. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast service is great. Be careful, in the rooms you may come across spiders or millipedes...

A very perfect hotel with great service staff! The breakfast was great! It was all cooked in advance! A very good experience, but the only bad thing was that it was not very convenient to get anywhere.
