Baan Fah Resort in Ban Khlong Mae Nam

The resort is right on Maenam beach. Spacious room and clean with access to a nice pool as well.

Really calm and nice area, amazing and helpful staff would definitely recommend!

We had no sun beds. There are not any chest of drawers or wardrobe in the room.

Unbeatable value for money! Great pool and facilities! The hotel is right on the beach, and it's fantastic!

We spent 8 nights at this small boutique property. These are our pros and cons.
Pros:
We opted for the Deluxe beachfront room, and selected the upstairs room (room 122) as you got great views and greater privacy so the 5 star reflects that not the other more basic rooms. The location of the property itself is fantastic. Right on the beach and literally a few steps from Soi 4, which is the village main street that runs down to the beach from the ring road. Our room was a good size at 50m² and was light and airy. Did we say views! Pay the extra and get one of these rooms - there are only 4 and they seem to be only a few years old. The restaurant and bar are also newish and well finished. Theres never a struggle to get a beach lounge and towels are provided. The beach itself offers good walks in either direction, specifically at low tide (google tide chart).

Cons:
Their buffet breakfast was not really a buffet, with the staff simply bringing out a plate of fruit, and asking you to select from a printed brochure, on what you prefer to have. I got an omelette and it came with a tiny amount of salad - that's it. We toasted our bread and condiments were available.
The coffee machine produced a reasonable brew, but when we asked about tea for my wife, the staff said we don't have English Breakfast tea.
Our room was meant to be serviced daily, but we had to ask every day for it to be done. A couple of days we just had a knock on the door with the staff providing fresh towels, water and bathroom amenities. The pool itself was good, nice and deep (1.7m) but there only 2 lounges next to it.
Overall, the place was better than we expected, with only a couple of little things that need adjusting.
We would stay here again if this same room was available, and as long as management stop people smoking canabis on their balconies and in their rooms.

A lovely little hotel. Close to shops and resturants. Fisherman's Village is approx 10 min taxi.
We had a superior beachfront bungalow with an amazing view of the beach and sea.
Rooms are spotless and the housekeeping do go above and beyond for you.
There is a small pool and just right if you don't like to sea.
I would recommend to stay here as its lovely and quiet.

The good: It’s a small and very well-kept hotel, with a beautiful pool that kids can also enjoy. The hotel is kept very clean and the location is excellent the beach is wonderful, very beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and if you have a sea view, you’ll be able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. Within a 5-minute walk you’ll find some restaurants, a currency exchange, a 7/11, and a Mini Big C.
The staff is very friendly and they were also very nice with the kids.

*** It’s not centrally located ,Fisherman’s Village is about 20 minutes away by car, so it’s not a place you’d go every day. There’s little variety in the restaurants nearby, it’s mostly the same type of food. Unfortunately, there are very few sidewalks in Samui, which makes it dangerous, but this is not the hotel’s fault.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with a spectacular beach, this is definitely the place. But if you’re looking for a place with more vibe, both day and night, this is not it!

Excellent location, the sea-view rooms are superb. The sea is just a couple of steps away.
