Tiki Beach Koh Phangan in Baan Tai

The receptionist was rude and aggressive. The man started acting nervous and yelling at us, so we decided not to check in. The owner promised to refund our money, but we're waiting! Staff shouldn't behave like this.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The common areas, such as the pool and beach, are well maintained, and it's clear that the main focus is on the external appearance. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food.

Unfortunately, the shared room (hostel )I stayed in was disappointing. There were cockroaches every day, the bathroom had a very strong and unpleasant smell, the water also had a bad odor, and I even found centipedes in the room. One of the most concerning things was that the door wouldn’t close properly, which made me feel unsafe. I had to sleep with the door open for two nights, which was very uncomfortable. The receptionist gave me a lock for the locker, but honestly, I was more concerned about my physical safety than my belongings.

It wasn’t until the third day that another guest went to reception to report the issue with the door, and only then did they seem to pay attention. The room Wi-Fi never worked, and it seems like the hotel might be behind on payments for it.
