Great value and location for this hotel. The staff appear to all be very young and easily distracted however we checked in smoothly and had no trouble. The location is fantastic if you want the lights and noise of the main restaurant and bar strip. Although the rooms are a little small when it comes to bathroom the overall comfort is fine with a hard mattress that is still ok for sleeping.

The rooms have an awful smell coming from them and the balcony isn’t how it looks on pictures. You can’t even stand it’s so small.
I’ve never experienced such bad service at a hotel in all my life. They have someone at reception that’s on the phone all day and can’t communicate with customers, they have no management team or no one to speak to when you have a problem. I asked for the manager and was told they are busy in Bangkok.
Myself and booking.com and have been calling and messaging the hotel for 9 days now and no one had replied to our messages or picked up the phone.

Nice and clean room. A bit small. No cupboards and dressing table. Everything is very compact. Hair dryer, safety box, kettle provided and balcony overlooking the busy, busy street and town center. Not to worry if you enjoy the nite life. Morning life starts after 9 am. Street is deserted early morning. Can walk to the beach through any passable lanes but sea may be a bit rough. To swim, you need to walk further away towards Rattana Guesthouse to where there is the wave breaker built. Safer to swim there.

Not a boutique hotel! Staff are very kind but this is a place you would stop over for one night. Rooms are okay, the bed is comfy but the towels are raggedy and there was NO TOILET PAPER :(((( When I asked for some they said they had none left.. how can you run a hotel with no toilet paper ?? Surely you'd go and buy some from the shop for your guests? For £13 a night it was fine but I wouldn't stay again.

Awful didn't even stay one night. The pictures they advertise with are fake. It's noisy, mosquito infected, the air con is broken (despite moving rooms)... Don't even concider this place as they will not refund you when you find out it is nothing like the pictures!

Would give this hotel no stars if I could!! The photos that show up on the google business page are fraudulent! There is no pool at all, let alone the one in the pictures! Behind The Scene Boutique Hotel is unclean and the staff are difficult to deal with. On top of all this, the air conditioner didn't work in our room so we got moved to another room, where the air con still didn't work properly! The sheets were also dirty in both rooms, and the rooms were infested with Mosquitos. Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy

New and clean room. Good quality bed, blanket, sheet and pillows. Towel rack broke and gone (I just knew it's quite annoying to take a bath in a bathroom without towel rack and nowhere to keep my towel.) Noisy as hell A/C. Location is great, Next to walking street and less than a minute walk to nearest convenience store.
The guy that I met at reception look like a guy that'll try to sell you snake oil but he's nice. Some staff seem to have no clue about what he's doing and look like he's just a substitution.
As you can guess from the location, this place's noisy almost 24/7. Advertising cars, VERY loud tourists, etc. But this place also have thin walls and very echo hallway with cannot-close-quietly doors. Not recommended for light sleeper at all.

Had an excellent stay here. Room was big and very clean. The reception was wonderful. Spent some time with surat at the reception and he was very helpful. Made all the difference in my stay. Great hotel and better staff!

Great place, now called Samui boutique.
The place is renewed and feels modern.
The rooms clean and the bed is comfortable.
The shower is the problem, it's to close to the toilet and there is nothing separating between them.
Very good location, very good place.
3 minutes from ark bar.
1 min from the beach.
Good value for money I like!

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Room was good value for money. Furnishings are solid if unspectacular and bed is comfy.
Biggest issue for me was the noise in my room, at random, yet frequent, intervals there is a strange squeaking noise coming out of the bathroom. I'm normally a deep sleeper but the noise woke me up a couple of times. Also as Chaweng is under the landing path of the airport, do expect some airplane noise...

Super convenient location. Literally connected to central Samui Mall. Room is ok , a bit noisy from the hall way. Shampoo and body wash has no label , you have to guess which one it is. Front desk was friendly enough and we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout. If you are looking for something that's close to everything , this is the place !

The place is much older and run down than in the photo
Room is clean but the MUSTY DAMP smell everywhere.
Corridor is exactly what you have in a student hall … very old, smell and run down.
Location is right next to Central shopping mall - convenient for those who wants to go to shopping mall.
Reception is unfriendly with an unwelcoming look.

The location was really good the hostel is directly next to the Samui Central Shopping Area.
The room were clean, the bed was really comfortable in my opinion and they offered daily room service. There was only one big disadvantage for me, the air condition only works when the room key is in the room. So every time you leave the room, the air is standing, really warm and smelling really bad also because of the toilet paper in the trash, ...
Another problem with the room was that the a few towels had stains on them.
All in all we really liked the stay, if you want to close to the center this is the perfect Hotel.
Tipp: Ask for a room in the 2. house out of 3, because there is the rooftop pool and the laundry room.

I review hotel rooms on the level how my sleep and therefore my rest was.
It was very bad. The walls are so thin, that I was woken up a couple of times because my neighbors were talking loud.
In the room are two very bright blue LEDs. They are so bright, that the room is not dark at all. It's blue. I tried to cover them with a towel which worked so so ok. On the ceiling there is a smoke detector, which is very good, but it has a blinking led light as well, very annoying in the dark as well.
My Rest factor was very low. Everything else of the stay was ok.

The COSI is not a luxury hotel but it is exceptionally good value for the price.
Simple rooms, clean, well presented with minimal extras. A great place to stay if you don't intend on being inside the room much, as the room is very plain and has no balcony or view.

Been here several times. Wife and I love it. Close to shops. Beach and bars. Very clean rooms! Will stay again.

To be clear: didn't stay here but spent some time at the beach bar P&P. Friends wanted to have shisha (which technically is illegal apparently in Thailand). Service is "just ok" but the guy running the bar is borderline rude, unfriendly, totally not motivated... And drinks are not cheap.
