Nine Design Place in Bangkok

This is a charming small hotel with an excellent location. There may not be many shops on the same street, but everything is within walking distance. After exiting National Stadium Station (Exit 1), make a U-turn and walk straight. When you see a large design hotel, turn right. I had a small suitcase and had no problem carrying it from the airport to the hotel. There is only one place where you need to use stairs (Exit 1 at the station). If you are not carrying luggage, you can also walk from Siam Station. The hotel may not officially serve breakfast, but they sometimes offer a complimentary breakfast. Upon check-in, the person who seemed to be the manager asked if they could serve me a free breakfast the next day. Unfortunately, I had to leave before 07:00 both mornings due to group tours, so I did not have a chance to try it. However, you may want to ask the staff if breakfast is available. The hotel offers plenty of fruits and sweets. I enjoyed mango sticky rice, and there are usually bananas and cupcakes available in the reception area, which seem to be complimentary. A Nescafé coffee machine is available at reception, although it is not always turned on. If it is off, simply ask the staff. Although there is no proper closet in the room, there is a rack with many hangers and several drawers. The room includes: - Mini fridge - Electric kettle - Bottled water (replenished daily) - Complimentary snacks and drinks - Hair dryer - TV - Air conditioning - Hot water shower - WiFi (fast) - Daily cleaning - 24-hour reception You will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you walk towards the river, you will find a very cheap local eatery. I only discovered it on my last day and wish I had eaten there earlier. At the nearby design hotel, you can visit the rooftop bar or try TAAN (Michelin-starred restaurant). There are two 7-Elevens between National Stadium Station and the hotel, and there is also a Lotus supermarket one block away. I stayed in a corner room, which had lots of natural sunlight — something I really love. Everyone at the hotel was very kind, although not all staff members speak English.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights and were immediately delighted with the welcome upon check-in. The staff at this hotel deserves the highest praise! The hotel itself is conveniently located, close to all transportation hubs. The rooms are nice. It's quiet at night, as the hotel is located a bit further down the block. There are plenty of shopping centers and a huge street food scene nearby. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely be back!

Simple but very clean hotel. Perfect and convenient location near MBK and the skyline. It wasn't on a busy road, so we slept well at night and didn't hear any noise. The 5 stars go to the hotel staff, who were always extremely kind. As soon as we arrived, they offered us a mango steen to welcome us and let us try a local fruit (otherwise we would never have tried it), and once again, mango sticky rice! There was always fresh water and juice in the fridge for you to take, and every day they left two bottles of fresh water in your room. Highly recommended!

Such a hidden gem of a hotel, we started off our trip to Thailand in Bangkok and stayed here for 2 nights. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, it’s a small hotel with such a friendly atmosphere. It’s located on a side street so we had a great nights sleep both nights. It’s also within walking distance to the MBK shopping centre so in a good location. We liked it so much, we’ve booked to stay again the night before we fly home!

It’s perfectly located, the attention is MARVELOUS, the rooms are very cozy. Everyone at the reception was so nice. They gave us free ponchos for the rainy days, they gave us a bag of typical Thai snacks per person (this was so so nice, thank you!) and they also let us taste a typical Thai fruit that’s delicious (forgot the name). If you want to feel like a king or queen, book this hotel. It’s small and very cozy, plus it’s a five minute walk to the mall, which is great and convenient.
