Overall I like staying at Millennium Hilton. Hotel is close to Chao Phraya River. Beautiful view, located next to Icon Siam.

This hotel is a bit pricier compared to other places, and the room isn't that big either. They do offer currency exchange, which is convenient, but while they accept USD, GBP, and HKD, they don't exchange RMB. I was quite confused why RMB wasn't accepted. However, it has many advantages. First, it's close to the Melin River. Although the Melin River isn't very clean, if you're a fishing enthusiast, you can fish right by the hotel and catch a lot of catfish. I even saw two people catch two catfish! The breakfast is also incredibly rich and starts at 6:30 AM, running until 10 AM. But when I went down at 11 AM, they still hadn't cleared everything away and I could still eat, which I thought was fantastic! Being able to have a late breakfast like that is really awesome.

The location is a bit removed - about a 20-minute walk to ICONSIAM. There isn’t really any public transport nearby; the nearest boat station is across the bridge on the other side of the river, around a 15-minute walk.

The hotel itself feels a bit dated and worn, (like no power outlets next to the bed), but overall it’s decent. There is also a pool and bar area with a nice view of the river, which is a plus.

The hotel is nice and clean. I had a comfortable stay at Ibis riverside. Breakfast was good with all the basic needs. Location is for those who wants a relax vibe in Bangkok. For shopping and nightlife people its far from action so consider it before booking here.

Great little hotel, just 15mins away from the ICONSIAM Mall and wow it’s mega big. Room was spacious shame about the bathroom being small but hey it’s a budget hotel so can’t complain. They do take a deposit of 1000thb on the day. Breakfast was alright, not to bad, mostly western.

I just want to ask: Is the soundproofing in all Ibis rooms this terrible? It's so bad that I can clearly hear people talking and coughing next door, seriously affecting my sleep! It's horrifying!

Right by the Chao Phraya River, it's a bit of a distance from the BTS, but the hotel offers a free shuttle. There's a 7-Eleven right at the alley entrance and plenty of massage places nearby. ICONSIAM is about a 10-minute walk. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor, and the air conditioning is quite noisy. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's sufficient for basic needs.
