Summit Pavilion Hotel in Bangkok

When I first arrived at this hotel, the front desk was very nice. But when I arrived to the room, it was not the room I had originally booked as I wanted one with the tub. They had switched me to the room with the bathtub after trying to have a bath I find that the bathtub will not drain. The room has such a pungent smell of old like no one had been in the room in ages.. The blinds were barely working and I thought I was going to break them. There is a patio door to go out to the sliding doors, barely work and once you get out onto the patio, it’s just completely full of dust and dirt. My feet were black after coming back . And to put it on top of this, I guess they had informed me they were doing a fire drill on a Saturday morning at 9am , but it was not translated very well. And I did not realize that this was happening until they put a note under the door. I feel like this should have been clarified as this is quite a big nuisance. All in all I would stay away from this hotel there is many options. This just needs an updating very badly, it is very loud, very bright And the location is just not very good. All of this caused me to check out after one night of my Four night booking.

I see now why they will not do any refunds on this hotel because they’re making all their money off of unhappy guests that leave early .
