Jasmine 59 in Bangkok

I only stayed two nights and was honestly relieved to leave.

They initially told me I received a “room upgrade,” but the layout was poorly designed. The wardrobe was positioned behind a door, making it extremely awkward to access. After raising this, they moved me back to another room.

The rooms are spacious, but functionality is surprisingly poor. There are barely any power sockets, which makes charging a phone and laptop inconvenient. There’s also no outlet in the bathroom, so even something basic like using a hair dryer is impractical.

The shower head was low quality and kept slipping/falling off during use. Small detail, but very frustrating.

The gym is limited, and the sauna/onsen area felt messy and uninviting. I chose not to use it.

The “king bed” is essentially two beds pushed together, with a hard ridge in the middle, which is uncomfortable.

Positives: good natural light and a nice view if you open the curtains. Location is decent, close to Sukhumvit and the Thonglor area.

However, overall it feels like the hotel focused on room size rather than comfort or design. The high rating on Trip.com doesn’t match my experience.

Would not stay again.
