It's a proper hotel with bath tub, separate shower, comfortable and soft slipper to body lotion. Nothing to complain for the room, check-in and amenities.
Perhaps they can upgrade their gym a little? Most of the equipment have rust.

I've extended my stay for 2 nights, so everything is good in general.
But the walls between the rooms are quite thin. You can hear other guests well if they talk loudly.

The rooms are massive, the staff are friendly and speak English, there’s access to the BTS (10min walk), it’s about 15-20 mins drive to the airport! What’s not to like?

Stayed for a week for work. 1. Nice grand hotel, good for large meetings and conventions, 2. Proximity to Airport, 3. Adequate gym and pool, 4. OK food offerings and polite/ helpful staff. Where it may fall short - rooms do not have USB charging points (bring several adaptors if you need to power more than 1 device), Gym closes early at 9pm, something about my booking that required laundry to be paid daily instead of at check-out (they will withhold your laundry). There is also a 7-11 at the Residence building side next to the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay... can be better.
