I was hesitant about this hostel because it is situated in the "backpacker ghetto" of the old city and was pretty cheap. I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and shown the 4-bedroom dorm I booked. It was on the sixth floor so the climb was a bit difficult with backpacks, but it was totally doable. I loved the common room on the first floor, work area on the second and each floor has its own balcony. Plus, there is a rooftop lounge area that is nice with good wifi. The room I had the first night was booked by the second and I was put in a single bed "room." It was more like a cell and I would not recommend this set-up. I am claustrophobic and the setup was unbearable for me. However, the host/owner/worker/reception was very kind to me and gladly rearranged the sleeping situation. There is a fridge, hot water, coffee and fruit available all day that is actually free (no stupid money bucket). I appreciated the hospitality and will stay here next time I am in Chiang Mai.

i have stayed there in 2018, the guy who runs the hostel is a legit human, everything was clean and tidy, you will get an absolute private room in a hostel, you get your own space, it is not a capsule hostel but it is different, you really have your own privacy with a door, not a Cutrone. the hangout area and rooftop is the best. they are so nice and friendly. i wish they are still keeping it up after all madness going on in the world.

In dorm room you have your own room!!!!!!, wide bed, Table, light, plug. you have door for your bed. its not a bunk bed IT'S TOTALLY A ROOM, complete privacy. toilet & shower supper clean, shampoo and body wash available. AC work full time. Great common area to hang out with smart TV with internet, roof top as well awesome place to chill out. free coffee & tea. staff and manager super friendly, cool and helpful. they went to bus station to buy ticket for me. Wifi speed super fast. i had to leave after 2 nights, i planed to stay for 2 week. price is really reasonable. location good.

This is a really nice hostel in a good location. It is clean and the host was very friendly. The dorm bunks were also very unique. Each bed was in a locked cubby-like area so even though it is a dorm bed, you can still be closed off and have plenty of privacy.

It takes about 15 minute from the airport. Cheap price, helpful staff.
I stayed here for 4 days, my friend's luggage had problem can't open, I asked staff and she was friendly tried to help us. This hostel has geat view on roof top, strong wifi and good air conditioned room. Every bed has door very personally. Near hostel has many street food at night.

@25 Hostel was an incredible place and all expectations were exceeded. There were 6 of us traveling to Chiang Mai for a weekend away and we were all extremely happy with our choice to book this hostel. We stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm. It is close to the airport, has incredibly clean facilities (not a bug in site), wonderful staff, extremely safe/secure, good wifi, and air-conditioned rooms. It is right next to a an area with great street food and a short distance away from the night markets and within walking distance of a great dance club called (Zoe in Yellow). Things to note before arriving: 1. bring your own shampoo and towel 2. bring toilet paper because the toilets sometimes run out and 3. bring earplugs or earbuds because the walls are in no way sound proof.

Cheap, clean and large private room. Shared bathroom facilities are very clean. Helpful owners. Thank you!

Terrible dirty rooms, dirty towels, cockroaches everywhere, uneducated staff. I am very disappointed, do not recommend. It was the worst hotel I didn't even want to stay in.

Did not stay here but called in for a breakfast. Omelette with rice and a coffee, food good, quick service and less than 100Bhat. Can't knock that.

Nice place, very affordable.
A couple 100m from the night food market and at the north gate, so 5 stars for location.
Rooms have A/C, are clean and have curtains. Be careful when booking, they have both fan only and A/C rooms. Shared showers and sinks so unlikely you'll have to wait (you can get to another floor of needed). So 5 stars.
Service is a 4 stars mostly because the owners aren't really good at English so it was hard to communicate. But they were nice and helpful.

Considering the price and the fact that there's a restaurant there so you can have a tea or breakfast it's a 5 start overall.

Not a bad location from the main square but a bit further from the decent bars etc. we had a private room and our friends had a dorm, both were really cheap and fairly basic, our private had clearly previously been a dorm room as there were still posters about not changing beds and random plug sockets scattered around where the bunks would have been and the bed was pretty average. The rest of the hostel wasn’t bad though
