Chang Chang Hostel in Chiang Mai City

Rooms, beds, bathrooms were very clean. The hostel offers many services. The common area and the chill lounge are perfect to relax or get in contact with other travellers. The stuff was friendly and helpful. At some evenings there are events like live music. But at 11pm they end, so its also quiet. For me a perfect stay

Good hostel. A/C works good, beds are comfortable, stuff is nice. But I missed the Hostel vibe at this place.

A great hostel in Chiang Mai.

Rooms - Clean, comfortable, quiet. Actually had to ask them to turn the AC down. I paid extra to stay in the 4-bed female dorm, and it was definitely worth it for the quiet and lack of smell. Each bed has a light and outlet and includes a locker large enough for my bag.

Facilities - Three showers and three toilets on the female side. Sometimes I had to wait. They weren't always clean because some of the other guests were disgusting, so it would have been nice if they were cleaned more often.

Service - The front desk was very helpful in booking tours, motorbike rentals, and providing general directions. The restaurant inside served good food at a reasonable price.

Location - Excellent. Directly on the moat. Easy to get songtaews or walk anywhere in the old city.

Fantastic hostel! The dorm rooms are big, have large lockers in them and are very clean. There is AC in the rooms and an extractor fan too to get rid of any bad smells!
The bathrooms are great and are very clean, the social area is amazing and the cafe is pretty good too!
This is a fantastic hostel and one I wouldn't hesitate to stay at again!

I have been in a 10 dorm share for 3 nights and I loved it there. The only thing was the aircon, turned off during the day and sometimes it was a bit hot. They have an common room with TV, Netflix and PCs; this area was chilled all day but closed at 11pm I think. The guys from the reception (24h) were very friendly and helped me with my booking and renting a motorcycle

I have been in the hostel for 3 nights and I can highly recommend this hostel if you only need a chilled place to sleep and some information from the reception. There is nothing special about the hostel without the very friendly personal at the front desk. You can rent a motorcycle or book tours there and they will help you with any question you may have about the city and traveling by bus etc.

Excellent, clean hostel for a weekend stay. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are clean. The front desk was very helpful with providing us with transportation in the early morning to the airport. Hug's location is great as it is walking distance from the North Gate Jazz Co-Op as well as Chang Phuak Gate where there is street food open very late. Looking forward to staying at Hug again!

Great hostel. Very chill and relaxed vibe. For $7 usd a night you can't beat it.

This place is amazing for the quality and value. Insanely cheap yet super clean and the staff is gracious and friendly. There's a restaurant with delicious inexpensive food and drinks. Absolutely recommended!
