Holiday Inn Express PATTAYA CENTRAL by IHG in Pattaya

Stayed March 2026. Let me start by saying the hotel staff and service was so good. All the front desk workers were friendly and tried their best to be helpful. The room was just alright. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom amenities are good. But, the cleaning lady did not seem to do a great job, the room never felt cleaned much and the shower is a bit mucky. I found ants on the counter each night I was there, so it must have been a long-term cleanliness issue. I was surprised because usually holiday inn express is pretty clean.
Once I got over that issue though, everything else was great. The location is right by popular party areas and an easy walk to the beach and Walking Street (not that you need to go there more than once). The rooftop pool is small but nice, and there is a solid gym room too, but I didn't have any time to workout. The breakfast is solid, and there is an omelette bar at the outside patio area by the breakfast lounge. There is also a coin laundry room, both washer and dryer. The front desk will exchange bills into coins for you, if you need. Overall pretty good experience.

The breakfast was good and the location was excellent. It was a bit noisy, but still acceptable.

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Pattaya. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good, with enough variety to start the day well. One of the best highlights is the unlimited free coffee, which is a great bonus for coffee lovers. Even though it's a Holiday Inn Express, it's an international chain, so the standards are consistent and it exceeded my expectations. The location is great, and the front desk staff were really friendly, helping me register for Wi-Fi. All the staff I encountered were welcoming with a smile.

This hotel in Pattaya offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are quite nice. However, a couple of things weren't ideal. The hairdryer was quite weak, and I also found a gecko in my room. I caught it and called the front desk, and a staff member came to take it away. Other than those minor issues, everything else was good.

The location is pretty good. While not on the main line, it's on a songthaew branch route, so getting around is quite convenient. It's a shame they didn't have a king-sized bed; the front desk gave us two twin beds, which weren't very comfortable as they were too small. Well, this is Holiday Inn Express Pattaya, can't really compare it to the ones back home. During Chinese New Year, the price wasn't cheap, but the breakfast was excellent. It's a bit of a walk to Beach Road, but the street right outside is actually very lively with plenty of shops and affordable massages. Gaode Maps (Amap) works perfectly in Thailand for both navigation and ride-hhailing, which is very handy.

Im giving a 4 star because staff and breakfast were awesome! Rooms and hotel not so much! A few things: rooms are small, pillows are so uncomfortable and hotel smells like sewage due to something going on in the city itself. Staff did best they could to air it out to where it was better in afternoon. Room smelt like latex. We had an ant problem. Came back from first day out and I had left my contact case out and ants were all over it and the counter. They "cleaned" our room. Only made bed. The bathroom counters were dirty when we arrived. Lets talk about the lights, you are suppose to be able to put your key card in to keep lights and AC on....Ours would not stsy on. The greenlight would blink. They sent someone right away to fix it after we finally called. Very fast. Although we had a lot of issues the staff were extremely apologetic and very fast and helpful at fixing everything. Breakfast is great!!! Many buffets at restaurant near by are same food and less quality. I would not say this is a 4 star. 3.5 at best. The pool is little, does not have a bar or anything and you have to get towels from lobby before going up to the 9th floor. Guy is small but 24 hours. The location is great if you want to be away from walking street chaos but still in the heart of central. Amazing food near by and there is a shopping center right around the corner. Good location but remember its the bar district so you can hear the street.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Central Pattaya. The location is fantastic—very convenient and close to Walking Street, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. It’s perfect for anyone visiting Pattaya for a holiday.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would especially like to mention Dokkaew, who was amazing. I forgot my locker password, and she arrived very quickly and resolved the issue without any hassle. Her prompt support and positive attitude really stood out.

Overall, the staff are professional, courteous, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Pattaya and had a really good experience. The location is a big plus ,very close to Walking Street and Pattaya Central shopping complex, so everything is nearby. Getting around is easy as well; Grab, cars, or bikes are available anytime and you can reach most places without hassle.

Rooms are very clean, well maintained, and comfortable for both short and long stays. Breakfast was better than expected with plenty of options and everything fresh and organized.

Overall, good value for money with a convenient location and clean rooms. Highly recommend this place if you’re staying in Pattaya.
