Very, very friendly hotel stuff! First time in my life I met so nice and careful hotel stuff.

Nice, quiet hotel in a great location on Koh Phangan. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, the surroundings are peaceful, and the staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Good value for money and a pleasant place to stay.

Everything was very nice! The Service was like from a different planet and the rooms that we had for ourrselves would host a family without issues.

The room is very spacious and there is even a hammock on the balcony. Also the food is delicious. The only problem was the noise as our room gave out to a well frequented road.

Nicest staff ever! Pool is beautiful and big, our poolside bungalow was also very spacious, the grounds are nice and the beach is a couple minutes walk. They cleaned our room daily and the breakfast included delicious Burmese food with western cuisine. We enjoyed a small beach party as well, every Wednesday.

We loved our stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Their rooms are comfortable and clean. The beach is an 2 minute walk away. Overall an amazing experience and would highly recommend staying here.

A decent hotel on the beach, with parking for both bikes and cars. The staff is very helpful. There's a large pool. If you're lucky and there aren't any Israeli youths at the hotel, you'll have a great time. If you're unlucky, you'll either become a wise man or an anti-Semite.

While rooms are just average, having the long swim lane pool, an excellent location on the beach with great restaurants nearby, this is a wonderful slice of heaven for those who want to chill and relax! One of our favorite parts of our Southeast Asia vacation!

Stayed at the hotel for the second time. The renovation is even more outdated, the beds are hard, the bathroom is old. The reception staff was not very friendly, unfortunately. For one night ok, but next time, I will probably look for something else!

Nice rooms, excellent temperature control, fantastic 30 m pool, right on the beach, excellent staff, good prices. Great beach views and ambiance from the restaurant. Must visit this place! A really nice place with a nice pool. Not too crowded and good service at the reception. It is good value for money! Just next to the beach with a good restaurant serving good drinks and food.

Great place for the price. Clean and New construction. I would ignore old posts. This place is doing their best and that’s enough for me at under 50USD per night…if you want a beach club with unnecessary guards at every entrance in the beach there’s a place next-door that’s run by the Burmese that will charge you about two to $400 a night… but you came to Thailand, right?

An excellent, cozy hotel. We booked a family room with two bedrooms, each with air conditioning and a private bathroom. There's a nice, clean pool on the grounds, and everything is well-maintained. The hotel provides a shuttle to the airport, which is a 20-minute drive away.

It's alright. There are mosquitoes. The large swimming pool is under renovation. The environment is okay. There's no place to dry clothes. The food is good. Overall, it's relatively clean and quiet, and the prices are acceptable. There's a river nearby.

Friendly, uncomplicated staff. The hotel is very conveniently located. The furnishings aren't new, of course. A room for budget travelers. Very basic.

No elevator, if you have a big bag ask for the first floor. Check in smooth and ordered us a cab to the airport. Gave us extra water and extra pillows.

It was a great stay, value for the price. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Upon arriving It looked like a bad location, but after you drive between 2 old buildings, the hotel looks ok. This area does not seem to get much business, and looks run down. This hotel is very clean, and comfortable. 4 stars for the area around.

Bradley and Dais are very nice, and the place has a really good atmosphere. However, the service needs improvement. We asked four times during our stay of several nights for someone to fix the TV, but it never happened. The daily cleaning was partial, and something was missing each time. The internet was also unstable.

The hotel offers fair pricing and is very convenient for a short stay before a flight - it’s only about a 5-minute drive to the airport, and there’s a 7/11 just around the corner. We stayed overnight at this hotel and it was fantastic. Nice and clean, spacious, with a restaurant, and a 7-11 next door and even some clothes shops. The hotel is in a truck park or filling station but you don’t hear any noise from it. The staff were very friendly and I would defo stay here again.

I highly recommend it! I really liked the bungalow; it's very comfortable and convenient. The beach is nice, I wanted to extend it, but it's all booked up; it's in high demand.

Secret Garden is my go-to place on Koh Samui. All staff are welcoming, friendly and treat me like family. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-positioned on the beach or around the pool. Food and drinks are very good coupled with weekly entertainment adds a big perk! I highly recommend Secret Garden!

The pool is really nice and being right on the beach is a plus. Reception was friendly at first, but often absent when we needed them. The restaurant staff weren’t very welcoming, and the room felt a bit strange, with the bathroom not well maintained. Also, trash was being put out literally right under our bathroom window at night, which was unpleasant.

The hotel was very clean and safe. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and polite. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to many attractions, with plenty of places to walk around, eat, and explore conveniently.

Good location, next to the Tong Sala pier, from which you can go to Samui, the rooms are quite modest, but in general it's not bad. There are sun loungers and tables on the beach, but the beach is small.

I really enjoyed my time here the staff were super friendly and the property is located right on the beach and it has a pool which is an added bonus. Beautiful Resort style right on the beach 🏖️. Nice swimming pool and restaurant with a great breakfast menu. Can arrange transport and motorcycle/ car hire. Rooms are directly on flight path for Sumai airport. Planes fly very low over rooms from at least 7:00 AM until 10:00PM. Also major road construction directly in front of hotel causing terrible traffic and noise

Nice hotel front the beach, good staffs and good service

Absolutely perfect property right on the water. We stayed here for a month during covid, and while we were the only guests in the entire property for most of the stay, the staff was incredibly nice and the property was maintained daily. There is also a 24 hour restaurant that could come in handy during some proper drinking sessions.

I've been visiting this lovely resort since years. This resort is simply beautiful, with recently renovated rooms with stunning views over the sea. For the budget traveler there are independent bungalows to choose from in their garden setting. Traditional Thai beds don’t be surprised at the firmness and sleeping on the ground. But otherwise super accommodating friendly and nice staff. The provide free water a light breakfast of toast, fruit and cookies. Free tea and coffee whenever you like. Ac and hot shower great stay

There are was a drainage issue. The water would be standing in the washroom for a while before it drains. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so that was good. The climb to the bed requires climbing skills. Exercise daily, be in a good shape before booking this place.

The hotel has its own flavor, but I would not recommend it. Small bungalows, green territory, close to the sea, very clean, tasty food, but the shower and toilet are a separate topic. It was expensive for such a hotel on our dates. The photos on the site correspond. There were no available on this date, so we chose it.

Basic amenities and excellent location.

Nice surroundings full of plants, located on the beach. Bungalows have a good concept and I like that, but the beds realy needs to be replaced. Old and worn out mattresses. Mosquito net over the bed comes really handy. Few friendly dogs roaming around. They are ok until they start to bark in the middle of the night 😂.

We booked 2 nights at Haad Salad Resort and ended up staying over a week — that pretty much says it all! It’s affordable, an easy walk to an amazing beach, and the family who runs it is genuinely lovely. Our room was cleaned regularly, breakfast was simple but nice (coffee, fruit, toast, water), and they had cheap scooter rentals right there, which made island life easy. Very high standard of rooms and a very fun place. Very fun to be so close to the quiet sea, hearing the wind, the birds, blue water, blue sky. You don't need more than that in life.

Very reasonably priced accomodation within a five minute walk to the wonderful salad beach. A complimentary basic breakfast is offered here which was a great surprise to us. Fan bungalow was basic, clean and just what we wanted. Lovely little porch and some great shared chill out areas. The staff are delightful. If we are ever back on the island I hope we come here again

Comfortable beds, helpful staff, quiet and peaceful location by a really beautiful beach. Slept well here. Breakfast was good, dinner less so but there’s a restaurant next to the hotel which does a great beach bbq so I recommend eating there instead. The sun loungers could do with being replaced.

Loved our stay here. A little bit dilapidated as mentioned but really great value for money when you consider the pool and beach access. Definitely head to the little beachside restaurant a short walk down the beach!

We stayed in a very small house with a spacious veranda. It's obvious the hotel is old and in need of updating, but the location is absolutely beautiful! You can rent a bike at the hotel; they take your passport as a deposit. The pool is especially nice – it's beautiful and deep, with a diving board. The staff is polite and friendly. The 7/11, night market, and shops are a 10-15-minute walk away....

We really liked the location and the staff. Bathroom was really bad, the quality, the holes were bugs came in. And at the breakfast need better food containers because flies always were on them.

The hotel deserves praise on many levels: the rooms are spacious and cozy, the grounds are large and well-maintained, the staff is polite and helpful, there's a very decent beach nearby, and the island's main town, with banks, shops, and a night market, is just a kilometer away. The hotel restaurant isn't the cheapest, but the food is delicious.

The hotel’s beachfront location is absolutely beautiful waking up to the ocean was a highlight of our trip. We booked a seaview bungalow for 5 nights, and wow what a seaview it was from Bungalow 2 which is raised slightly and right on the beachfront. Lovely balcony with chairs and a table or you can just lie in bed and look at the sea or watch the amazing sunsets. Just note there are a lot of steps down to this bungalow so not suitable for young children, pushchairs or those who are unsteady on their feet...

If I could give Zama Resort 10 stars out of 5 I would. Just the most perfect idyllic little coastal resort with stunning views, the kindest most welcoming staff- and the rooms, just wow. It’s really the small touches that count, fruit on arrival, the softest towels, diffuser, insect repellant etc- all makes a tired traveller relax and settle in. We stayed here as a couple for 3 x nights at the end...
