Mira Cappadocia Hotel in Avanos

One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I had a sweet little room up from the reception with a panoramic view and beautiful antique furnishings. The breakfast buffet was a marvel and I loved that they played Etta James. Also, this place is ideal for cat lovers! I had a couple of sweeties lounging inside my room (I happily let them inside). The hotel also handled my airport shuttle booking and gave great recommendations. Would happily stay here again.

An amazing hotel in a charming town! Staying at Mira was a highlight of our trip. Uğur and his staff were incredible, providing great tips and recommendations, while also arranging airport transfers and a day excursion. The breakfast was a classic Turkish spread with lots of choice. The location is also great for exploring Cappadocia, Avanos is arguably more local, welcoming and less touristy than staying in Goreme. Highly recommended for your stay too! :)

Rolled into Cappadocia late. We found this hotel on booking.com. It was an adventure to get to and that we went up the street that looked like old turkey, it was very cool!
We loved it very much! It was excellent service, great bedside manner, beautiful room, great Free Turkish breakfast. Talked at links with the owner, he cares very much about his guests. We recommended 100%!

We have had such a welcoming stay at Mira. The shuttle service and the tours have been easy to book. When we arrived we got told to feel like we are at home and it felt like that the whole stay. We arrived early and we were allowed to get into the room earlier. The breakfast was fantastic every morning. The rooms themselves are very spacious and there are several terraces to look out into the city. We absolutely loved it!

The lighting and ambience of this hotel at night are inviting and styled in a high end vibe. The rooms are warm and cozy and provides you with all that’s needed. The owner of the hotel is a very kind and helpful individual. The morning breakfast is top notch and the staff who work there are lovely and attentive. On top of that breakfast provides a beautiful panoramic vista view of the surrounding area. 10/10 in my opinion and highly recommended

What a great find this hotel is. We loved eveeything about it. It is an 1000 old building that sits on a slight hill. Away from the noise of the river's hustle and bustle, but close enough to see it from the beautiful patio/ seating areas. Parking is plentiful . The rooms are very clean, and the showers hot with amazing water pressure. The rooms also have fully working heating and a/c. The hotel staff are helpful ,and Fared ,the owner , was a wonderful host. We were provided with a bountiful breakfast and even a packed one for our trip back to the airport. When asked we were provided genuine informatuon about how to get the most out of our stay in Avanos.
Avanos has a slightly more laid back vibe than Gerome and other closer tourist towns,which we prefered.Gerome,Nevsehir etc are all very close though,within 6 to 10 kms and are very easy to get too, but far enough away to enjoy a more typical Turkish enviroment.

A wonderful family hotel in Avanos, near the main touristy sites and museums of Cappadocia but protected from the hype of the coaches and groups. Beautiful and spacious rooms with a personal touch and lovely courtyard and terrace to chill out during the warm evening months. Walking distance from the centre of Avanos, a living town known for its pottery production…I am glad that I found a favourite hotel for weekends and holidays in Cappadocia

Very unique style of building, built and designed with a high standard. Staff and the manager were very helpful during our stay! Highly recommend this place!! The breakfast buffet was amazing. The views and the various outdoor sitting areas were also really good.

Wow! what a beautiful hotel : well-maintained and clean : the terraced views from the hotel are just amazing, and you could even see the hot air balloons (early morning) from the hotel and this I found breath-taking!
There was really good variety of breakfast choices along with an extensive variety of Turkish borek (burak), too which was freshly homemade by the ladies there, who served this so graciously and "with heart" :
All staff were helpful, polite and friendly throughout my stay there, and my thanks to you all; and I would like to particularly pay my thanks to Gokhan, who was on Front Reception for going the "extra mile" to assist with my requests. Thank you all for making my stay, memorable!

Very clean & tidy cave hotel.
Spacious cave room with rustic colours.
Best breakfast longue with amazing local breakfast choices.
Warm smiles by the ladies making the breakfast was lovely.
Friendly & helpful staff at reception.
