Sakura Fethiye Hotel in Fethiye

It was recommended by a fellow traveler. What was supposed to be just a stopover turned into a longer stay, and I extended my visit by two more days. The best part was the curtains on the bunk beds, offering privacy. The bed was clean, and you can rent towels for 50 lira.

Highlight the Positives:
Upon entering, the place smells fresh and new. The rooftop has a kitchen where many travelers cook their meals.

Location:
The hostel is located right in the middle of the old town, central to everything. It is easily accessible by bus, and the Migros supermarket is just 300 meters away.

Value for Money:
The price is reasonable for a hostel in this area.

Service:
They have a 24/7 reception, so it doesn’t matter if you arrive in the middle of the night.

Areas for Improvement:
The rooftop could be improved by creating a more functional common area with a proper kitchen. It would be a great spot for travelers to relax and socialize.

Great location in Fethyie. Staff was helpful and friendly ! We had the deluxe suite for one week. Very spacious room!👌🏻
Cleaning was okay, you could tell them when you want your room to be cleaned, so they don’t enter without your permission.
The only thing they need to take a look is the shower place. Some things needs to be replaced there, because they are old and pay a bit more attention to it.

It was my first hostel experience in Turkey and I was really satisfied as I couldn't imagine. I stayed in some hostels in Europe but Sakura Hostel was really the best. I stayed 4 nights. Emre and Mert, the staff at the reception were so friendly that I can't find words to describe it. They helped me with everything. I'm glad for their advices about transportation and places to see.

The best part of my holiday was drinking tea and socialising. The taste of the tea I drank here was really different. The toilets and bathrooms were very clean and cleaned every day. The beds were the same way. It was the hostel with the biggest storage space I have ever seen in my life. Even when I put my cabin-sized luggage and my big bag, there was still free space. There was also a very useful area on the edge of the bed where I could put my belongings.

The location of the hostel is already perfect. Every morning I took a walk by the sea and the marina. There were many restaurants, markets, coffee shops and bakeries. The hostel was in a nice bazaar.

And the friendships. I will never forget my friends here, both working friends and those who came on holiday like me. We all had a very pleasant time together. Our conversations were very enjoyable. I thank you for everything. My home in Fethiye is now Sakura Hostel.

Great location, spacious rooms, excellent price/quality ratio, and most importantly-the people who work here are simply fantastic! The day receptionist, Mert, is an amazing guy who helped me a lot during my two-week stay. He assisted with extending my stay, moving to different rooms, offering the best tips and advice about Fethiye, helping to arrange my remote workspace, and more! The overall atmosphere, thanks to the place and, above all, the people, is superb. Highly recommend!

Better than hotel, all staff and guest were so respectful.

It is the best hostel that I have ever stayed. All staff are very nice and helpful. They helped me with the paragliding. They helped to extend my stay by one day upon someone’s cancellation.

They packed the breakfast before the paragliding time as per our request, but the breakfast was not great and very limited. It had 3-4 slices of cucumbers and tomatoes, 2 slices of cheese, a couple of olives, 1 jam, 1 nutrella, bread were completely dry. I threw the bread. I paid the same price in other 3 places in turkey and got the better quality and quantity.

The kitchen at the terrace was very useful during my stay. Terrace was quite hot. They must install 1-2 fans so that people can enjoy their meals without sweating.

The location was good. It is near to the Domlus bus station.

This is a great hostel stay and well worth the money. Great amenities and space. I had double room with my partner and was very happy with what we paid. The staff are very accommodating with bag holding, laundry etc.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! The hostel is perfect, with neat facilities, an amazing rooftop with a lovely view, friendly staff and everything else you could need. The room is very clean, the bed is spacious and has curtains for personal space. Good location that's closed to minimarts, cafes and restaurants. It takes about 30 mins walk from the bus terminal if you come from another city but there's always minibus that you take to get to the hostel (no need to bus pass, using debit or credit cards is fine)!

Great location n the main city and terrace has beautiful views of the mountains. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also give tips on traveling around area. Tefo at reception is very helpful. Only downside is it was just under renovation so so services on the bar are not available at this time. Other than that great place to stay in centre of city meet other travellers. Adam
