Hotel Roxx Royal in Kusadasi

stayed here the 19th of October until the 26th rooms were clean and very nice, cleaners in each day staff were nothing but friendly and very helpful we arrived late at night 11pm so missed dinner so was very hungry asked staff is there a takeaway close by but none around so the lovely young men behind the bar made us up a nice meal and brought us to restaurant literally cant pronounce one young mans name in particular but he will know who he is when he sees this he was a gem the whole holiday we also met a lovely Turkish man name Attila who was very helpful when we arrived and was the one to ask the young man for food for us we were forever grateful as was travelling from Dublin since 2pm big shout out to the owner Paul too we went to his restaurant one night was picked up from hotel to hos restaurant where the food was amazing and very reasonable and dropped back me and david had a lovely time and sure will be back with our 3 children next time.

Arrival- When we arrived on 23.8.23 there was no wifi. This was disappointing because we needed to message our family in the UK to let them know we had arrived safely. The wifi returned the next afternoon at 1pm. Our room had no safe and the AC was not working. Reception informed us things could only be fixed at 8am. As promised, the next day the AC was working and a safe with a set of keys were left in our room. Bedroom- the bedroom is very clean. Our room consisted of a double bed and a pull out single sofa bed which was sufficient for 2 adults and 1 child. Out wardrobes had sliding doors with 6 hangers. Bedroom was cleaned daily. The cleaners do a fantastic job Bathroom- a large shower, sink and a bidet toilet. It was cleaned daily and towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo were replenished on a daily basis. Food- breakfast is omlette for 6 days and pancakes for 1 day cooked on the outdoor gas hob. Items also include bread which can be toasted, salad, boiled eggs and mainly Turkish delicacies. Be prepared for queues for fresh omlettes as there is only one chef cooking. Lunch- 2 whole tables are filled with salad and then 3-4 hot items are available. The main dishea are rice, curry, chips or wedges and pasta. Dinner- 1 item per day is cooked on the outfoor gas hob. Our week of food consisted of; chicken niblets, lamb kebabs, grilled fish, chicken donner, chicken thighs etc. Desserts- a large selection of Turkish desserts are served at lunch and dinner. 1 A La Carte Meal is included for per week of stay. Tuesday is Italian and Thursday is Mexican. We did not enjoy the food in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at in Turkey. The children only ate chips and ketchup. Pool side menu- everyday between 3-5pm burgers, nuggets, onion rings and chips are served outside. Ice creams are available 3 days a week but please be prepared for the queues as there is only 1 person scopping the ice cream! Shop- the hotel has a shop which is extremely overpriced. Shop- next door to the hotel you will find a mini Asda type of shop. Extremely cheap for snacks and household items. There is a Migros opposite the hotel and also one on the left hand side of the hotel within walking distance. The local area around the hotel is very basic. There is no tourist shopping available. You have to catch the bus to get to the main Centrum shopping centre. There you will find a Burger King and Mcdonalds as well as hundereds of bag, shoe and tshirt shops. You can catch bus numbers 6 or 7 which takes you to the Centrum shopping centre. The bus costs 14.5 lira which is around 50p one way. The taxi will cost 100 lira which is just over £3 one way. The bar serves alcohol, pepsi, fanta and sprite. They also supply Ayran but it kept running out. Fatma at the reception desk is very very helpful and Burghan the waiter will go out of his way to help you. Fatma helped us through out our stay and even printed our boarding passes for us on the last day. She speaks Eng

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread each morning. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants.
