Stayed: 17 October 2025, 10 nights, couple aged 45, 49 Positives: The location is excellent — around a 20-minute walk to the Old Town and bazaars. The main all-inclusive restaurant serves good food, with plenty of hot, fresh options. The Indian head massage at the spa was lovely (£35 for 30 minutes), and the sauna and steam room were both good. Negatives: Drinks are quite limited in choice, and the jacuzzi was out of order — we were told it hasn’t been working all year. There’s a lovely piano bar near reception, but despite the signs showing opening hours, it was closed during our stay, and this is the only inside bar to get alcoholic drinks. When it rained, the only way to get a drink indoors was to walk outside to the pool bar, then back up slippery tiled steps in the rain. The Silence Pool Bar was disappointing — poor food options and even ran out of basic drinks like lemonade. Food at lunchtime very limited and not very tasty. Food at the beach bar isn’t included in the all-inclusive package, only drinks are and the cocktails were terrible. Staff didn’t know how to make a Cuba Libre, and the piña coladas came from a machine rather than being freshly made. The pools were freezing, and hardly anyone used them. Evening entertainment was a highlight — an hour-long show each night around 9 or 10 p.m., which was genuinely enjoyable. Rooms were adequate but dated, shower not always very hit, and the rugs in the coffee area were noticeably dirty. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. The food and drink options fall far short of that standard. The à la carte restaurant also isn’t included in the all-inclusive plan, and we never saw a menu or prices. Marmaris overall: The town felt very commercialised and overpriced — food and drinks were expensive (£11.50 for a cocktail), and the promenade was full of people persistently trying to get you into bars and restaurants. Overall: Some positives, but too many disappointments. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

We had some issues with our first room at the beginning of our stay, but fortunately we were able to change rooms without any problems. The air conditioning was not working well and the bathroom could use some renovation. However, the staff took good care of us throughout our stay, and we especially want to thank Tayfun for his great service and kindness.
