I had a wonderful stay at Mithra Cave Cappadocia. The cave hotel experience was very unique, and the room was beautiful and spotless. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they took the initiative to introduce everything to us, which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. We also really enjoyed the apple tea they served — such a warm and thoughtful touch.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I felt I had to share this lovely experience. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and kind. I think this hotel is perfect for families, friends, or couples. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and it really makes you feel at home.

The hotel was spotless, and the service was consistently excellent, exceeding all my expectations! I arrived 30 minutes before check-in time, but they were able to get me into my room right away. They even helped with my luggage and guided me to the breakfast area with such thoughtfulness – they really won me over! The room had a fantastic cave-like feel, and having two separate beds was a huge plus. Honestly, they went above and beyond for everything. The views were breathtaking, and the food was incredibly delicious! I'll definitely be staying here again!

The views were beautiful, and the facilities were great – a truly lovely stay. I'm also very grateful for the polite assistance I received whenever I had a problem. Breakfast tends to get crowded, so I recommend checking the timing before you go.

Nice rooftop for morning photo taking of balloon. Standard breakfast. Overall is comfortable but a bit expensive.

Great location for the fantastic view of hot air balloon and the valley from the restaurant and the terrace. The hotel is half way up the hill so need to walk uphill. Limited car parking space, luckily we got one right in front of the hotel, probably need to park early then walk down for dinner. Honeymoon room is spacious, has bathtub and dual shower + washing sink. Can consider stay longer for nice photo shoot.

The room and breakfast were ok. Nice view from the terrace with the hot air balloons flying in the sunrise time.

However, the hotel should definitely improve their services (or staff’s language skills) as they threw my birthday cake away, which I told their staff to “keep it in the fridge” after I checked out. This was surely not acceptable at all.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good location near the center. Have a very good view of the hot air balloons that give a magical day. Food is also nice.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location with a lovely setup. But the maintenance is not so great. The bathroom shower fixtures need replacement. There was a heavy snow on the days we stayed and the common areas, stairs and balconies were not cleaned. The breakfast was on the terrace area and the stairs were very slippery due to the snow. Average breakfast choices.

Hospitable, friendly, helpful in all areas of concern regarding tourist information. A peacful relaxing environment situated up high overlooking the most spectacular views from an open air garden. The cave rooms are inviting, cosy & characteristic of this part of Turkey

Even though we arrived after midnight, the staff welcomed us with smile and explained everything. Also they waited for us to have breakfast next morning even though we showed up late. Having a breakfast in the balcony, watching hot air balloons floating around us was spectacular! It was like another world. They offered us one day tour on a SUV and we got to visit many highlights efficiently. It is not cheap but worth the money. They can interpret if you need. When I had some clothes to dry, after washing them in my room, they kindly invited us to the rooftop and let us use their clothesline, which was super helpful. I would definitely come back!
