The Kailyn Hotels & Suites Atasehir in Istanbul

All I can say is the service from the hotel and hospital were amazing (pre surgery). After my wife had had the surgery, the standards went down rapidly. In the hospital my wife was left in her own urine for several hours, I took it upon myself to go to the supermarket to get cleaning equipment to clean my partners room because her hospital room smelt like sewers. Back at the hotel due to her surgery she was heavily bleeding, I went to the front desk to ask for toilet roll to be told no, then told 10 minutes, about an hour later they finally arrived with toilet roll. After then I completely shut down and kept myself to myself, considering all the animosity, iv had snide comments, rude gestures and laughed at repeatedly.

When I ask the man on the front desk that had been giving most of the above attitude, what his problem was - he turned aggressive and abusive, three members of staff had to grab him and pull him back inside the hotel because he was being so aggressive. Upon that, after arriving back at my room, I had received a message from the coordinator saying I'd been aggressive and upsetting guests which was not the case and also threatened with police. When all I had done is stand my ground regarding the disgusting treatment of myself and especially my partner that paid a lot of money for her surgery and ro stay in this hotel.

Not just that, the hotel staff ripped me off every opportunity with commission fees and not telling me, I found out due to a taxi driver telling me.

Beware of staying in this hotel as it has been an absolute nightmare.

Bathroom leaks, cut hand on opening the fridge, door handles broken and falling off in every room, loose floor tiles, oh and items stolen from the hotel room.

Staff were lovely when first arrived, but opportunists with making extra money on guests - exploiting the language barrier.

I have come to this hotel as a part of a surgery package. When my companion was at the hospital with me, staff memebers ignored the "DND" light as we didnt want anyone in our room when we weren't there and cigarettes where stolen from my hotel room. I obviously made a complaint and then staffs attitudes really changed from there on out.

After my surgery i was bleeding quite heavily and when my companion went to the desk to ask for more toilet roll - he was told no, he was insistent and told 10 minutes. He went down again after 20 minutes to be told "they will have a look". It took over an hour to get some more toilet roll.

They were charging my companion commission for them ringing taxis to and from the hospital.

The room itself was adequate. Shower seal is rotten so when having. Shower it floods the bathroom.

Coffee is also not included in the continental breakfast.
