Black Art Otel in Istanbul

We read different comments. We stayed two nights. We will never recommend this hotel at this point. The hotel has a good potential if they make sure the rooms are working properly. And, chose ur stuff carefully.

We had two stuff members, one was a very kind man who take his job very seriously and tryed to solve our room problems even it was not possible. The other one, no comment.

Our room-problems:
Airconditioning was broken, second day they give as a very noisy old ventilator. Better than nothing! It's very hot in the room.
The shower drain was clogged. Someone came but there was no solution.
One of the mattress was covered with blood.
Safe box was broken.

There is no elevator, we stayed at level 4.

Breakfast: u can't choose, small plate with an egg, some olives, tomato, cucumber and cheese. Not bad, but I can't have lactose; I needed to ask 3 times if it was possible to have an extra egg. The nice stuff member made it possible (thank u sir!). U can only hace a cup of tea, u need to pay for the coffee and water.

The stuff member who is a scammer. Please, stop thinking that tourist are stupid. A taxi to the airport cost not more that 15 euro/300 Lira. When we ask u if u can call for us a taxi u wants us to pay u 30 euro/600 Lira. And please, don't became rude.
We called a taxi ourselves. It cost us only 280 Lira.

This hotel is a scam. Their rooms are a lot smaller they claim them to be. And the view was "into city" only theoretically. Photos of the rooms are very misleading.

Also, there is an impolite crook working there, and he was even threatening. It is absolutely impossible to negotiate with them. You will not get refunded.

Staffs and manager are totally impolite! And unfriendly. The rooms is look like a match box ! It would be the last option if you could not find somewhere. You must pass the very sharp ramp to get access to the Taqsim sq.
Bathroom is 1 square meter! The blanket is too small and not clean.
