Fimka Hotel in Istanbul

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Dirty, rude personal, noisy. Issues with room access, cause key doesn’t work. Also I had sleep problems due to horrible noise coming from corridor and next rooms. No sound insulation at all. Room cleaning doesn’t change towels, just takes away old ones without bringing new as a change. I do not recommend this place to anyone to stay even for a day. There are plenty of good hotels around. Be careful when you choose.

If you don't want to be beaten by hotel staff, please don't stay in the hotel!!! I have never experienced such a bad treatment from hotel staff in my life! Their staff are the most disrespectful, mean, rude people ever! They beat my husband for respectfully waiting in the reception!!! And Instead of apologizing, they just kicked us out of the hotel!!! Zero professionalism and very bad treatment!! This was the worst experience in my whole life! Don't stay here!!

Hotel to avoid! Extremely rude and racist staff. This behavior is unacceptable and should be condemned. Spend your money at a hotel with better values and who knows how to treat their guests.

There was no hot water for 3 days which is unacceptable, the staff was rude, the rooms are not cleaned, check-out is until 12:00 worldwide, they call us at 7:00 to leave the hotel with a small 1 year old baby, don't go there, I don't recommend it, the elevator got stuck 3 times and there are no stairs, it's still under renovation

A big NO. This is not a hotel for tourists, it is just a place for "entrepreneurs" who come to Istanbul to buy clothes to spend the night. The location is near the main historical attractions, 10 minutes walk to the Bazar and 20 minutes to the Mosques, but the nearest Havaist station to go to the IGA airport means walking for 10 minutes on narrow streets with no sidewalks. While at some point the rooms were renovated, they are not able to clean them properly. This is actually one of the first things we asked when we checked in, to have the bathroom cleaned. You can hear every noise from the hallway, so for us staying at the second floor was a nightmare, as we could hear all the people returning in the evening at the hotel and the breakfast preparation early in the morning. When we complained at the reception, we were told that a group of tourist was making the noise. Breakfast is a big joke and if you want to take it around 9 o'clock, good luck finding something to eat. The elevator is in the clothes shop near the hotel. When we checked in we were asked to leave all the passports at the reception. We only received them back after paying in advance, even though the reservation was done via booking and all the payment details were given in advance. This seems to be a common practice at this hotel, as they had quite a lot of passports. The only good thing that I can mention is the wifi connection.
