Historial Hotel

On the peak time they sold the paid room for more expensive to other customers. It is not ethical at all, we were left at the street. This is not fair at all, we lost our day, nerves and money, only hotel to gain several more coins

Room was fairly comfortable with a lower price in a good location (however the nearest Tram is a full 10mins walk uphill and very unsuitable for my old parents), wifi is available but is poor. Smells from plumbing came from time to time but it works well without problems. Breakfast served in a different hotel (the Ottoman) 2 minutes walk uphill with a magnificent view! A lift is available but some rooms require you to climb up a short steep set of stairs, so it was difficult for my dad (he cant walk v well even with a walking stick) to enter the room. Building was quiet new and comfortable.

However, staff werent very polite and could not understand english, so communication was poor. One person in particular was rude and argumentative, quarreled with us during payment, and raising his voice, other receptionists like Julia and another man was helpful, polite and could communicate w us better!
Overall a mediocre experience :/
