A very good and nice hotel in terms of location, distinguished & VERY kind staff. Rooms with a modern system, decor & at a very good price. I spent 8 days there & they were ideal. For me when I come back to Istanbul I will definitely book here.

The room was nice but it wasnt properly clean.
The heater had stains,we found also hair and a clipped toenail.
If they fix the cleaning issue i would suggest that place for sure.
The neighbourhood is quiet in general.

We arrived late at around 9pm, but we were able to check in easily. Check out was also easy.
It was a small hotel with only a spiral staircase, so people with heavy luggage should be careful.
It was not my first time in Istanbul, and we only had a day to stay, arriving at night and leaving the next day, so we avoided hotels in tourist areas and chose this hotel, which is easy to get to the Fener Balat district, which I had never been to before.
At night, the area around the hotel was quite dark. We headed to a restaurant about a 15-minute walk away at around 9:30pm. There were no shops open late at night unless we walked that far.
We had a small errand to run and only came to Istanbul to sleep, so it was fine, but it might be a little lonely for tourists who come all the way from far away to Istanbul and stay for a relatively long time.
I think the price is quite cheap.

Such a great place! The people who work there are amazing! Such nice people!! It is close to a lot of places which you can visit while in Istanbul. The rooms are clean, they have AC, there is free parking and the wi fi is also decent. I highly recommend this place.

It was very nice to stay at Gen Suites Cibali. I was there with my family, we had a standard room and the room on the top of the building with an amazing view to the Bosporus (you can also see the Galata Tower from the terrace 😍). The rooms were beautiful and clean, the service was super good and friendly - everyone and no matter how late it was!! The location was perfect, it is just really short of minutes away from Eminönü and all that sightseeing spots. Furthermore I really felt safe here.
Summing up, we loved to stay here, I would stay again at this hotel.

A place to sleep only (we took the economy room on the ground floor, I hear the voice of those coming up from the stairs, the bathroom does not have a bidet, the best thing about it is its location close to everything, the towels are very worn out and the slippers were not cut)

The hotel is newly built and quality-price is the best in Istanbul, the surrounding neighborhood is very vintage and quiet near Balat, which is a very touristy area, it has the sea on a parallel street to walk around enjoying the views of the city. The staff is very nice and the attention is perfect. If I return to Istanbul I will not hesitate to choose the same hotel.
