I had a very disappointing 2-night stay at Taksim Larissa Hotel Suites.
The hotel initially attracted me with a low price and good ratings, but the reality was completely different. The room was extremely small — honestly more like a “bird room” than a proper hotel room. The ceiling was also very low, making it uncomfortable to even stand straight.
Another major issue was housekeeping. During my entire stay, no one came to clean the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel.
Overall, this was a very poor experience and did not match the expectations set by the rating and photos. I would strongly recommend that new travelers avoid this hotel and consider better options in the area.

I personally made reservation with this hotel because of the reviews. I am afraid to say I wouldn’t even consider this as 1 star hotel. I know all the reviews are 100% fake.
Even though the room has a window, the building is so close that all you can see is a tall, gloomy structure. It's a little building with really depressing rooms. In comparison to what is depicted in the photographs, the sink was horrendous compared to what is shown on the pictures. Edge of the hot tub was flimsy and some part shows odd replacement of odd woods which was really tacky.
The toilet would give a sense of horrible sewage smell through out the day.

This hotel is luxurious beautiful. The best one around this area. Everything is clean and exactly like the pictures your have seen. Most importantly their hospitality is one of a kind. They received us warmly since we walked in. I have a cold and he brought me hot herbal tea after already gave us plenty of water. We are impressed with all services and cleanliness and they view on the 4 th floor is amazing day and night. We definitely return to this place and give highest recommendation.

I had a great stay at Taksim Larissa Hotel. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent. just a short walk from Taksim Square.
The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. Even when my travel plans changed and I had to cancel my reservation, they were very understanding and handled everything politely, and I even received a refund without any issues.
Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone staying near Taksim.

Good location, just 10 minutes from Taksim metro station and from Istiklal street with lots of places to eat nearby. The room was clean enough, everything provided was in working condition. Chose the room bc of the balcony with view of Istanbul and it was great. Windows looked out west and provided great sunset view. The staff were really great and helpful!

Great location, very close to public transportation, with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were welcoming and service was very responsive. I wouldn't recommend staying on a low floor though, as the balcony views are nonexistent. Definitely aim for a higher floor.

Our suit was small but comfy with terrace without roof, so we could spend time their cuz it was raining... Wi-fi was ok, we had washing machine and kitchen which saved us some coins. Reception was kind and friendly, they hepled us in any situation and with a taxi also.

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
