Cape Palace Hotel in Istanbul

+ Great location, good breakfast, helpful staff
- In the room (on the basement floor), the noise of water pouring from the sewer from the upper floors is periodically heard

Amazing location. Super helpful staff. Room had a brilliant view. Definitely worth the stay if you want to explore the sultanahmet area. The room dirnt have a full length mirror which is the reason for 4 stars. But great experience overall. Will stay here again.

I have to say I did not stay at the hotel and so cannot comment on that. I actually had a look around the small shop in the hotel foyer. A small array of items, friendly person who worked there who unbelievably knew about the football team in my home town. I bought a beautiful picture which was printed on a tile, I believe the painting is in Istanbul's art gallery.

Megara hotel is undoubtly one of the nicest place in istanbul, because, first of all: Its close to hagia sofia, blue mosque and topkapi palace. literally 5 min walk. 5 min walk to sea. 10 minutes in metro to Eminonu port where one can take a cruise in boaphorus for 15 TL. Amzing breakfast. Best part of the day.lol. Room service and overall service is very pleasant. Taxi stand right in front, so no problem arriving from Ataturk airport. It will take 60 TL by taxi to reach there. Cheers!!!

Rooms clean and tidy and air conditioned. Staff super helpful and friendly. Small hotel but big on charm. Great breakfast

If you wanna feel at home in Istanbul, this is the right place for you to stay. I have stayed there many times, staff is friendly, location is excellent, view from the top level restaurant is just GREAT! Don't miss to have a chat with the owner!
