Reviews
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly — we had contact with him through WhatsApp throughout our stay, and he always responded quickly. ✨
There is also the option to arrange transport to and from the airport (paid in cash), which was very convenient.
The bed was super comfortable, and our room had everything we needed — a fridge, wardrobe, mirror, and a balcony. The bathroom was clean, with a shower and a hairdryer.
On the top floor, there’s a shared area with a fridge and a place to make hot drinks, plus access to an open terrace with a beautiful view of the sea 😍
We highly recommend this place! The location is perfect — close to the best attractions in Istanbul. I’m absolutely enchanted by this city 🥹 Thank you so much Celil ☺️✨ for an amazing stay! 💖
My husband and I arrived at the hotel before the official check-in time. We are well-travelled and understand that our room may not be ready, which is perfectly normal. As is standard practice in every single hotel we've ever visited, we simply asked if we could wait in the lobby for a few hours. To our absolute astonishment, the staff informed us that sitting in the lobby was "not acceptable" and that we would have to PAY A FEE to use their public seating area! This is an unprecedented level of greed.
Furthermore, when we asked if we could leave our luggage with them until check-in time, they also wanted to CHARGE US for this basic, industry-standard service. It is utterly unbelievable.
The man at the reception was not only unhelpful but incredibly rude. He was disrespectful and made several offensive remarks to both me and my husband. His attitude was confrontational and completely unprofessional, making a stressful situation infinitely worse.
To add insult to injury, after we stayed the night (in a room they claimed was an "upgrade"), the receptionist CANCELED OUR BOOKING.COM RESERVATION. He did this specifically to prevent me from leaving a honest review on that platform, using the "upgrade" as a flimsy excuse. This is a manipulative and dishonest practice meant to silence negative feedback and artificially inflate their rating. Because of this underhanded tactic, I am forced to share my experience here to warn others.
This hotel is an utter disgrace. They try to monetize every single gesture, lack basic human decency, and their staff is hostile. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Manager, if you are reading this: You should be ashamed of the service culture you have created. This is not how you treat guests.
You can hear cars, even night there are some traffic. Also the soundproofing of the walls is very poor, you can hear big noise from the neighburs too (something like a generator).
I booked for 2 nights, only stayed one.
The receptionist is disrespectful, aggressive, dismissive of the noise and mansplaining. He lies that everywhere is noisy in Istanbul. No. I visited Istanbul many times, stayed in couple of other hotels in this city, never experienced such a huge noise like in the petite maison hotel. Very bad location for a hotel.
If you go to Istanbul i suggest you to keep looking and find other hotel with better qualities and better service! :) It's a wonderful city!
