The hotel is worth the money. The breakfast is small but decent and filling. The room distribution is super. The service could definitely be better, but if you push hard enough, they'll get things done.

Extremely close to the heart of the Old European Quarter, you can walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
There are three room types; I stayed in two of them. The sea view room is on the top floor, and the cheapest one is in the basement. The sea view room offers direct views of the strait. The basement room was also fine; I didn't see any bugs, and it wasn't noticeably damp, so I think it's a perfectly acceptable option. However, the facilities are pretty basic.
Breakfast is provided daily, consisting of bread, cheese, jam, and coffee. The chef in the restaurant was also very friendly and welcoming.
All in all, the location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance of the main attractions: the palace, mosques, squares, and cisterns.

I stayed at Antik Hostel, and its location is its strongest point. Other than that, the experience was quite underwhelming.
The room was very basic and small, with no privacy in the beds. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and every new guest was told it was just a temporary issue, but long-term guests confirmed it had been down for a while.
If you want to store your belongings, you have to rent a lock for 100 TL, which is inconvenient. Breakfast was very minimal and lacked variety.
Overall, this hostel is below average. While it’s not the worst option, there are definitely better and more affordable choices nearby.

Location is biggest selling point, less than 5 minutes to walk to the blue mosque and hagia sofia. Still located on a quiet street. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was great every day. 6 bed dorm is a bit cramped and and bathroom got dirty quickly.

Highly not recommend to stay in this hotel. Eventhough near wirh hagia sophia, but the room is very small, no hot water, recepsionist has no good communication, he pushed me to take one more room for additional 1-2 people and the picture shows is not similar with the room they give to me

My stay was disappointing. While check-in was smooth, the owner was rude and unprofessional when I tried to extend my stay, insisting on cash only despite accepting card earlier. The facilities were poor—none of the power outlets worked, and I was initially given the wrong room. There was no hostel atmosphere, as most guests were older. On the plus side, the location is great for sightseeing, and the room I was moved to was quiet. I wouldn’t return due to the rude service.

Nice bed with privacy. Nice common area in the roof with breakfast provided. Staff was quite unfriendly though. It’s probably Turkish culture? What a misogynist society. Well they wouldn’t care anyway.
