We(Me&my wife ) choose this hotel for 35th Wedding anniversary celebration and My Little boy sent an email to the hotel manager before checking in. The room we booked was standard but after one night They kindly changed our room to superior room at 9th floor . We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 5 Days, and one of the standout aspects was the cleanliness. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained Great place to stay! The location was super convenient, close to everything you need. About 200 meter to Taksim square Breakfast was excellent too – plenty of choice and everything tasted really good.,
We truly appreciated the high standards of hygiene, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who values a clean and well-kept environment!

I do a lot of meetings in hotel, in different hotels in Turkey . No staff is greater than Occidental & Barcelo hotels ( sister hotel ) .

I highly admire Mr. Furqan's smile, and warm speech , always !! Very nice and supportive .. Amazing person.

Ms. Sema is very smooth and smiley too . Very spokative , polite and nice . I like to see her every morning serving our meeting - amazingly nice person.

And Mr. Naheel - the supervisor of all. The best host & supportive person I EVER met & enjoyed serving me & my guests in Turkey .. No one comes close to his support, seriously working towards satisfying the guests !!

And the chef is amazingly creative, very good in cooking, serving amazingly beautiful & tasty dishes - everyday !!!

Lastly, I like to thank Occidental's management for hiring and caring for all these staff, and our experiences are always improving in Occidental hotel - and we like to repeat meeting there continuously !

Occidential

Great for room upgrade, Junior Suite is large. Good services & breakfast. Good location near Taksim. However, (a) shower box floor tiles are very slippery when wet (in comparison to other hotels) and (b) most of electrical outlets used for lamps, must take out lamp male plugs (to stay in dark) to charge mobile phones and iPads.

Located close to taksim square which is next to the shopping belt with lots of restaurants and shops. the room is huge too with lots of amenities and reasonable breakfast. the best part is that the airport shuttle drop off point and pick up point is just 3 minutes walk away which is good if you are arriving late or early! you can also take public buses from taksim square to several locations

A very nice hotel that deserves 5 stars. Cleanliness: 10. Reception: 10. Food: 10. The location is very good and close to everything. It is not worth hiring a taxi. It is close to Taksim and Istiklal Street. I would like to thank the hotel manager very much for his kindness and help in changing the room. The only thing I did not like is that there are rooms with bad views. Other than that, everything is nice and the hotel is worth visiting again. 😊

The hotel had a very good location, and the staff understood English, which was one of the biggest advantages. The place was clean and tidy, and the pool was well-maintained. The hotel staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was served in a warm, cozy, and clean environment with excellent service. The breakfast buffet offered something for every taste, and if you needed anything else, the staff kindly brought it to you upon request. Overall, everything was very good, and I will definitely come back here next time. Many thanks to all the staff.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. It's very close to Taksim, and transportation is quite convenient. The hotel environment is also pretty good. The reception staff, especially the guy, provided excellent service; he quickly resolved our request to switch rooms.
