Bathroom did not have tooth brush and tooth paste , first hotel that I see they charge extra for using swimming pool
They should have mentioned this clearly in hotel description
Breakfast was not bad but it was same meal daily

It's a decent hotel. It's best to arrive early for breakfast, as it's a bit messy by the end—food on the tables and on the floor. The location is very convenient—it's close to Taksim Square.

The location of the department is great. The metro is a few steps away, buses go, Istiklal is nearby, all the food, shops were nearby. Ahmet Apak greeted us in a friendly manner, provided a room earlier than the standard check-in, very grateful. After the hotel, they left the suitcases for storage. Our hotel had a terrace, what a stunning view it was 😍😍😍

Hotel and room were sparkling clean. Our room was well maintained, beds and pillows were comfortable. They clean the room daily. Their pool was big enough and clean. Location was literally dope and amazing.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Hotel manager, front office manager and even housekeeping staff were smiling, positive and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

Very nice and clean hotel. The location was awesome. Their service understanding is very professional and good. Access from airport and also access to touristic places from hotel was easy.

We stayed there for almost a week. The entrance is not child stroller-friendly. We had to carry our son's stroller at the entrance. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location. They don't have a lot of variety of food at breakfast. They claim they serve breakfast at 7:30, but they serve omelets at 8:30. On the first day, I really thought there was no omelet, but later I realized that it came later. One family who stayed there claimed that their belongings were stolen from the room. That family told us that the hotel staff were not only unethical and didn’t cooperate with them but also threatened to file a case against them.

Room was not clean at all, towels were not clean also the bed cover was dirty. Would not come back for sure. Also there is no AC unit control!!! This is the minimum for a 4 star hotel. This is not even a 2 star hotel

Review – Nippon Hotel, Istanbul
I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.

I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.

The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.

Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.
Thanks to Nancy from the reception she is so helpful and collaborative! Without her the issue was not solved.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!

I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.

I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!

This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.

Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
