The hotel's location is excellent, close to all amenities: Taksim Square, Galata Tower, and the Metro. It's close to everything. The only downside is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom.

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. Most of the major attractions in the new city are within walking distance. The staff are all very kind, and the breakfast is excellent. The room condition is also top-notch. I especially liked that the room was quite spacious. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I had a wonderful experience at Midtown Hotel. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, which makes it very easy to explore the city.
The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.
The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and quiet despite the central location. Housekeeping did a great job every day.
Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options, and the atmosphere in the hotel was warm and pleasant.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend Midtown Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and would be happy to stay here again.

I and my family have come to Istanbul for Holiday. This hotel was absolutely the best, service was amazing and on point. It was close to all tourist attractions and public transport. But, in one of the rooms (205), the sink was leaking water, and lights were flickering. Other than that, breakfast was amazing, as well as the hotel vibes.

My stay at the Midtown Hotel, Istanbul, was excellent. Its prime location near Taksim Square made exploring effortless. The staff ( Mr Ismail) and all others were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations and provided me rooms upgrade to accommodate my family. My room was clean and comfortable, a perfect retreat. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, a fantastic start to each day. While central, city noise was minimal. Highly recommend for its convenience, comfort, and outstanding service—a superb base for an Istanbul adventure!

Everything about this hotel is great. Staff is very kind and cooperative. They are welcoming and guide you about everything you ask. Location is ideal. 1-2 minute walk to metro station.
We booked a family room with 2 sofa cum beds. It was a bit congested. Otherwise, cleanliness, breakfast buffet and all other things were perfect.

I am South African, I was in Istanbul for holiday and I stayed at Midtown Hotel. The location of the hotel is great, close to attractions and also close to public transport. That enabled me to get to various places in the neighbourhood easily. The hotel room was clean, the sheets were clean, the stuff was friendly, particularly the friendly lady that cleaned my room. She was nice and friendly ( unfortunately I did not get her name). The food at breakfast was nice and the staff in the restaurant friendly as well. Thank you to Cengiz for borrowing me his ‘Istanbul card’ so that I can get around using it, appreciate it. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, please keep up the standard.

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
