Room was very small but the restaurant was amazing with super nice view of Istanbul

Me and my husband stayed for 6 days at Seres hotel in October 2025. It was our 5th stay there.
The hotel is located in a walking distance from all the most important attractions.
The staff in the hotel is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
There is a rooftop restaurant with open buffet breakfast and wonderful view of the Bosphorus.
Special thanks to restaurant staff Ali( the Manager), Turgay and Didem.
They all very friendly, amazing and wonderful people. They make us feel special.
Ali, who we call friend, when he saw us in the hotel lobby on the day of our arrival, he sent fruit basket to our room, which was very kind of him.
This time we had superior double room, which was very good size.
The housekeeping service was great, room and bathroom were very clean.
We want to thank to everyone for making our stay to feel like home.

Our five-day stay in Istanbul was wonderful.
My son uses a wheelchair, but thanks to the support of the hotel staff, we were able to spend our time comfortably.
Thank you very much.

Having breakfast at a place overlooking all of Istanbul was amazing.
But the most memorable part was the kindness of Ms. Didem and Mr. Turgay at the restaurant.
Thank you. I will never forget it.

I stayed here two years ago and decided to come back — and I’m so glad I did! Everything was just as perfect as before. The hotel is amazing, and the staff, from the reception to the restaurant, are truly wonderful.

Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back!
Special thanks to Ali, Turgay, and Didem from the restaurant — and a big thank goes out to Mehmet, who was always there to help us whenever we had questions and who took care of our transfer to the airport. Once again, it’s a fantastic hotel — very well equipped, extremely clean, and in a great central location. We will definitely come back you’re the best! ♥️

Nice hotel in the city centre, rooms are a bit small but very well kept and clean! Well arranged and tasty breakfast each morning, with a beautiful view over the bosporus en a fun seagull named Aziz that politely sits outside the window that the waiters feed sometimes.

Very good service overall, esp fron Ali, Turgay and Didem during breakfast, so many thanks to them! :)

We enjoyed our stay and definitely recmmend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! (4 nights)

First of all, the location is just perfect — about 10–11 minutes’ walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and around 5 minutes from Eminönü port, the seaside and the Galata Bridge

The T1 tram line is right nearby, so it’s very easy to get anywhere in the city. You can also walk across the Galata Bridge and reach the old town area on foot.

From Eminönü port, you can take a ferry to Kadıköy, Beşiktaş, or join Bosphorus tours, so it’s a great base to explore all sides of Istanbul.

The hotel itself is compact, located on a crowded, narrow street typical for Istanbul’s historic area.

Our standard room was quite small — especially for two people — but still cozy, clean, and comfortable.

Housekeeping was excellent — our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels, slippers and toiletries.
Big thanks to the housekeeping team for their care and attention!!!!

There are two possible views depending on your room:
one faces the courtyard, where you can hear the hum of many air conditioners (so the window is better kept closed),
and the other overlooks the street side, where trams pass, people stroll, and nearby cafés stay open until late at night.
It’s not a disadvantage — just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper, as the area stays lively until around midnight.

On the rooftop, there’s a restaurant called Messe 360, offering a breathtaking panoramic view over Istanbul and the Bosphorus.

Breakfast is served there until 10:30 a.m., and it’s delicious, varied, and plentiful — fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, pastries, Turkish coffee, and more.
In the evenings, the terrace becomes a beautiful restaurant popular with visitors for its view.

A special thank-you to Ali the friendly and attentive breakfast manager — always welcoming, offering Turkish coffee, asking if everything is fine, and happy to help.
The whole staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely warm-hearted.

The hotel staff at the reception and downstairs were always incredibly friendly and welcoming.

They greeted us with a smile every time, were ready to help with our luggage — both bringing it up to the room and taking it to the car when we checked out.

If we had any questions or if something didn’t go as planned, they were always quick to assist and make sure everything was fine. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay feel warm and comfortable.

Yes, the rooms are small and the hotel is compact, but it felt warm, clean, cozy, and full of character.
And that terrace view — simply unforgettable. We could sit there all day.

The hotel itself was in a great location. Close to the Blue Mosque, The Great Bazaar and Galata Köprüsü.
Staff at the front were friendly despite their lack of English skills.
The room was clean. However, the sheets and duvet had holes in them. The duvet was way too small for the size of the bed and the toilet seat was broken resulting in the lid of the toilet leaning on your back as you sat down. Not to mention the inability to turn the heater down so my partner and I spent the entirety of our nights sweating.
The breakfast options were minimal for fussy eaters, dietary requirements and those who don’t eat a typical Turkish breakfast. The waiters at breakfast ignored the female guest but would happily help out the male guest.
The walls between the bedrooms were paper thin and I could hear every moment of the people staying next to me.
We also got woken up each morning before 9am by the cleaners vacuuming! Too bad if you wanted a sleep in.
It was a fine stay for two nights, however, I’d probably find somewhere else to stay next time.

Wonderful restaurant in the hotel. Ali and his team Turgay and Diden made our breakfast great every morning. Special thanks to Ali for his sincere care, attention to our habits and hospitality. In a couple of visits Ali remembered our preferences, every morning he greeted us warmly and charged us with positive energy for the whole day! Thanks from Daria and Tatyana from Moscow.

Overall, a good budget hotel. We stayed with our family for 4 days, and during those 4 days, the room was never cleaned, as the cleaning service only reached us around lunchtime, and at that time my children were asleep. I asked the cleaning service to come later, but no one came, and so on throughout those days, everything was the same... I changed the towels myself, and took water from them myself. The breakfasts were good, on the roof, where seagulls fly, and it was interesting for the children. The windows overlooked the road where the tram tracks were, and it prevented me from sleeping, but if you have children, it would be better to choose another place. Overall, a good place for a couple without children, close to all the sights.

I stayed at Seres hotel for a few days last August. It has a very convenient location in the old city of Istanbul, very clean, spacious and comfortable room; good option for family with child. My favorite part was the rooftop, which had a wonderful view, atmosphere, delicious breakfast and 5🌟 service from the guy who served the breakfast, he was just amazing. The staff at Seres makes you feel like you are in a five-star hotel.
