Meroddi Barnathan Hotel

I liked the hotel. Especially the breakfast on the terrace with a view of Galata, Sultanahmet, Kizkalasi and the Bosphorus.
The rooms are in an old style. It was not accepted that they settled us in a room with broken frames, the window did not close. They fixed it the next day. On Saturdays you will not be allowed to sleep. The street is noisy.

Great view at breakfast. The view of the Galata tower is simply mesmerizing. Excellent breakfast. Lots of different fruits, cheeses, sausages, croissants, tea, coffee, buns. For Istanbul, just super top. You leave the hotel and find yourself in the epicenter of all the other attractions. Like

My friend and I stayed for four nights. From the moment we arrived, the service was professional and friendly. Breakfast was served on the terrace, and compared to most buffets, it offered higher-quality breakfast options. The only issue was the ongoing renovations in the adjacent rooms during our stay. Since we were up early anyway, it wasn't a big deal. However, it would have been better if the rooms next to the renovations weren't opened to guests, and they've tried to address this by providing earplugs. Overall, I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again on future trips to Istanbul.

I really like this hotel, I'm staying there for the second time. The location is great, the view of Galata is right from the room 😍 The breakfasts are also normal. Good staff, Ahmet at the reception is generally smart, without knowing Russian, we talked to him as if he knew it 🫶🏼

The rooftop view is beautiful because it is close to Galata Tower.
It is 5 minutes from the metro station, so transportation is convenient.
I liked the room interior, and the breakfast was just what I needed, so I was satisfied with my stay.
I had a pleasant trip thanks to the friendly staff.

Stayed at the Meroddi Barnathan Hotel for 4 nights in 2024, and it was an incredible experience!

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Memet, the concierge, was amazing—so friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived before our room was ready, he made sure we felt at home, offering complimentary drinks and a relaxing space in the restaurant. It was a great way to start our stay.

The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast on the rooftop. The view overlooking the Bosphorus was nothing short of breathtaking, making every meal a memorable one. The spread was fresh and satisfying, and dining with such a stunning backdrop was the perfect way to start each day.

Our room, while on the smaller side, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, meeting all our expectations.

The location of the hotel was another major plus. It was perfectly situated, close to everything we wanted to visit, making it easy to explore Istanbul's vibrant attractions.

Overall, the combination of exceptional service, stunning views, and a prime location made our stay at Meroddi Barnathan Hotel unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Pros: Price is on the lower end in Istanbul, the breakfast choice is top notch for the price, the view from the rooftop is unmatched, WiFi is strong across the hotel, staff is accommodating and attentive. The room is small but has a nice big bed to make up for it.

Cons: hotel is dated. The rooms lack light and the bathroom shower head was constantly loose cresting a wet mess. The drainage in the bathroom is awful causing a small flood every shower.
