For me, location and soundproofing from the street were important. I couldn't hear the mosque, even though it's right next door, so the hotel did well with that. However, the soundproofing in the hallway is poor; you can hear everything. But overall, it didn't bother me too much. The food is good and varied, with plenty of choices. The location is excellent, right at the beginning of Istiklal Street. There are cafes, shops, and pharmacies nearby.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay near Taksim Square. It's within walking distance of Istiklal Street and Taksim Square, about a 2-3 minute stroll, and you won't encounter any stairs even with luggage. The airport shuttle stop is about a 15-minute walk, also without any stairs.
The hotel's surroundings are well-equipped with plenty of restaurants, a Carrefour supermarket, and even a hospital nearby. Right across the street is a consulate, which adds a great sense of security.
The room was very clean, and the front desk service was excellent!!! We arrived early, and they even allowed us to check in ahead of time. 🫶🫶

Great location, right next to Taksim Square. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was quite good. However, the hotel rooms are a bit small, and they don't offer parking. There's a small underground parking lot across the street, but it costs 50 yuan per hour.

When I booked this hotel, I was really looking forward to the free room upgrade benefit. However, we were disappointed that on our first day, despite there being available rooms, the hotel didn't proactively upgrade us.
At the time, I was in a hurry to go out, so I didn't say anything. But when I got back that evening and saw the room, I felt like I couldn't possibly sleep there. It was so small I couldn't even open a suitcase, probably less than 10 square meters, and bizarrely, it had two doors.
So, around 10 PM, I contacted Ctrip customer service. They said they couldn't upgrade us that day but could arrange a room change for the next day. First, I want to say that it's unacceptable for the hotel not to offer a proactive upgrade when rooms are available. Second, the room we initially stayed in was the worst of its type, with almost no Wi-Fi signal.
Thankfully, with the intervention of Ctrip customer service, the hotel finally upgraded our room on the second day. The difference between the two rooms was huge, just for your reference.

The hotel is right next to Taksim Square, which makes it super convenient to get everywhere. The airport shuttle drops you off at the square, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is pretty good; the rooms aren't huge, and the elevator is a bit small. They charge a 100 Euro deposit per room. You can catch the T1 and T2 trams nearby for sightseeing.

The receptionist was not as friendly as we expected. The security helped us to the room but left us just as that without informing us anything afterwards. Breakfast was okay, there are some varieties. The room was spacious enough for both of us but would love to see the body shower soap in a dispenser instead of bottled. There are 2 lifts but each lift could only fit max 4 people and it can be quite tight. Overall, location wise was okay but Taksim is super chaotic.

Nice place with good location to explore Istanbul, close to Istiklyal street, Taksim square and Metro. Good breakfast and incredible view from restaurant terrace.

Great location. It only takes 5 minutes walk to Taksim square where you can find great restaurants and shopping. We appreciated that we had early check in and room upgrade. Hotel staff are very helpful and polite. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast especially the beautiful scenery from the restaurant. There provided Turkish breakfast which is delicious and tasty. The interior design of the hotel is great and elegant. It is really value for money.

- Cash deposit I was not prepared for. It is returned during the check out if nothing was eaten from the mini bar, but still. When you take shower the water comes out of shower cabin (under the door), so half of the bathroom becomes wet. Radiator in the bathroom does not work (I guess because it was warm outside), but due to this wet floor does not dry fast.

+ Helpful friendly staff, awesome Russian-speaking administrator in the restaurant during breakfast. In the room there are blackout curtains, with closed windows no noise from the street. I stayed here for one night and it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, it didn’t feel like a 4-star property at all. There was no one at the entrance to assist with luggage, and to make things worse, you have to climb stairs just to reach the reception.
They also demand a deposit of USD 100 or Euro 100, which I found unreasonable.
The worst part was that renovations were going on during my stay, yet the hotel continues to accept bookings. The smell of varnish was very unpleasant, and the overall flooring and interior felt old and poorly maintained... Note : Another part of the hotel was beautifully renovated.
