Most historical sites are about a 9-minute walk away. The location is convenient. Although I believe Hafez Mustafa is slightly overrated, you can probably find better food elsewhere but incase you want to instagram your existance here, it'll be easy to do. There are some lovely small cafés and bakeries nearby.
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay.
We Stayed at this hotel twice this month for a total of 10 nights. The first stay was nice, however on the second stay the staff was rude and unaccomadating. On our second stay we decided to pay extra for a slightly larger room and bed, only to be given a room that was smaller than what we paid for in terms of room size and bed size. After calling the reception and speaking to the manager, both of whom were rude and insulting, they told us we could go measure thier other rooms if we thought ours was smaller. They offered no help in changing our room. The rooms also have broken door handles, molded curtains and are pretty noisy. For the price they charge, you can get a lot of better options in istanbul. I wouldn't recommend staying here, just based on the attitude from thier management.
